Here’s a polished restaurant review you can use:

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Color Seesee, and it was a wonderful reminder of authentic Shanghainese comfort food.

The highlight of the meal was definitely the steamed soup buns (小笼包). Each bun was delicate and perfectly pleated, and the moment you bite into one, a burst of rich, savory broth fills your mouth. The balance between the thin wrapper, tender meat filling, and flavorful soup was spot on—exactly what you hope for in a great Shanghainese xiaolongbao.

Another standout dish was the mini wonton soup. The small, silky wontons in clear broth instantly brought back memories of time spent in Shanghai. The flavors were light yet deeply comforting, and the texture of the wontons was just right—soft, smooth, and satisfying.

Overall, Color Seesee delivers an authentic taste of Shanghai with care and attention to detail. If you’re craving genuine Shanghainese flavors—especially excellent soup dumplings—this is definitely a place worth visiting.

Shanghai Wonton and dumplings are the best we ate in Vancouver. The Buns are also very good. All are handmade which is appreciate. But it is a bit expensive that we cannot eat many times. But there is no parking nearby the shop.

The food is fantastic, it is so tasty and authentic, and it feels like we are back home in Shanghai. Every dish we ordered is so fresh, juicy, and flavorful 👍👍👍 This is also our son’s favorite restaurant, and he always comes here to enjoy these delicious Shanghai snacks when he is back from London, UK. The staff are also very friendly and provide excellent services. This restaurant is highly recommended 👍👍👍

Food tastes good in general, very crispy fried. The crab steamed buns are made with real crab. Each one I ate had crab shells in it. My friend and I enjoyed the food and she ordered an extra pan fried pork buns for take out.
However, they charged us 0.3 for takeout box and 0.3 for bag, but they didn’t give us the bag😅. They were too busy to make the buns and etc., since the first time they brought us the buns in a dish, then changed it to the box with no bags and immediately went to the kitchen to work on the food. The fee is only 0.3 but can affect the overall experience, maybe considering only charging the box in the future since it’s so easy to forget to bring bags.

Wait for serve for 10 mins with other people, can’t believe the lady work in the front just ignored everyone, she didn’t even bother to greet customers. Have to go eventually, will never come back again.

Ended up coming back here a second time with my girlfriend as she has been a regular here since a while. Ended up being served uncooked pork inside my pan bao. When we told them about it, they started arguing with us nonstop, ignored us and said they could microwave it for us. Never coming back here again. Very rude behaviour. Normally they behave very sweet and after them arguing with us over the pink uncooked meat we want to stay away from getting sick.

I ordered here tonight for first time from Color See See not sure if it cause on receipt it says 4 when it should be 8 since the menu says 4 per order pan fried buns. I ordered double but only got one order. Have no idea how to get refund for the almost 9.00 dollars though. Tried the email on the receipt and it's invalid. I spent over $70 so disappointed I didn't get what I ordered. Food was tasty but I don't recommend take out as the boxes are wax coated trapping the steam in making the some of the food soggy. Despite this I'll probably try them again even though there others near by. Prices are great and food is fresh and flavorful.
