Not the same quality of food or service anymore (since Juanita and Sabrina took over).Being a long time regular customer, I have been truly trying to avoid writing this review but it wouldn't be fair to myself or to other customers. There seems to be a constant staff turnover, overpriced, lack of flavor, constant errors with my order, charging extra for 2 pieces of romaine lettuce for a bunless/lettuce wrapped burger (lettuce wraps are free of charge at whitespot, fat burger, a&w, earls, red robins etc...)After having a long and exhausting chat with one of the friendly servers, they suggested that I write this review since the new owners no longer care about the restaurant. My family and I will not be going back. ?
One of my favourite go-to breakfast joints. They offer a fantastic classic breakfast and more. Reasonable prices and really great customer service. 10/10
Awesome delicious home made food. Great service. Cozy atmosphere. A hidden gem in North Burnaby. Love this restaurant
We used to love this place and were regulars! The service was always 12/10, and the food was great.Last time we were there the waitress didn’t bring me what I had ordered (I ordered a a veggie omelette and added cheese, and she brought a Benny with cheese), not a big deal except when I mentioned it she didn’t say a word and then I didn’t see her again- another server came to ask about my uneaten Benny and when I explained he said they were waiting to see if I’d eat it because they ‘didn’t want to get swindled’. I was so offended. Eventually, 30 minutes after the rest of my party had finished I got my omelette, without cheese but I didn’t dare complain as I’m not a fan of being accused of ‘swindling’. My coffee cup and water remained empty the rest of the meal. So unfortunate because this place was a favourite, especially after Jane’s changed. Hopefully we can find a new place.
My boyfriend and I went for brunch on a Sunday morning and it was less than satisfying to say the least. When we arrived there were no tables available inside which was fine, and we were offered a table on the back patio. No vaccine passports were scanned... not good. The patio was not heated so it was a bit chilly, but the worst part of the location was that it was right beside the backdoor to the kitchen which wasn't ideal, as the staff kept coming out to talk to a table behind us (possibly owners, but everybody there knew who they were). We were facing a table that had dirty dishes and glasses on it for our entire dining experience as well which was not very appetizing. Service was slow which is understandable for a busy weekend morning but it bothered me that every time our server came around, she made the excuse that they were very busy. I get it, but I'd also prefer to not wait 15 minutes for a latte (which tasted like drip brew coffee with cold milk). Service was friendly though, and when they were around they were very kind. I had ordered the Sicilian benny, which had an obscene amount of spinach on it, and I had to take the benny apart and rearrange it as it was basically just thrown together. The little hollandaise sauce I received tasted old and not that great to be honest. The hash browns were good though! I never leave poor reviews as I work in the restaurant industry myself and I know how stressful it can be at times, but there has to be some sort of standard in place so that guests leave satisfied.
Very well priced, good food and polite staff.
Definitely the worst Greek food I've ever had. The appetizer hummus was tasteless. The prawn souvlaki was tasteless, except for the harsh salad dressing. The portions were small and overpriced
yuck! Ordered the Chicken Souvlaki for lunch. Super small skewer of chicken, one tine half potatoes, a scoop of rice and NO PITA BREAD!The worst is they use Balsamic vinegar on their Greek Salad. It wasn't cheap either. Live and Learn. Never again.
Quality food, excellent service and a cozy little place to meet with friends and family. Highly recommend ??
Awesome breakfast, friendly staff! Been there 3 times now, everything I've ordered has been amazing. Love the home made hollandaise sauce. Possibly the best I've ever had. Can't wait till this next Saturday so I can go again. There is an amazing tasting omelet with my name on it. Oh yeah as a side note, but not less important the staff on all 3 visits were excellent. 5 stars does not do this justice!!!!!

Tried Cozmos for brunch, will go back again. The Eggs Benedict selection provides a few different choices. I went for an Italian Omelette, the prosciutto added just the right amount of flavour I would have like there to be a sprinkling of appropriate veggies, but I got exactly what the menu described. What most impressed me was the friendly staff who were busy, but attentive enough. A mistake in the order was corrected and given free of charge. I might have a new place for Sunday brunch.
A wonderful little spot in North Burnaby. There is a parking lot right beside the cafe. The atmosphere and food and coffee and desserts are awesome. Everything is home made. There is also a small outdoor patio/ verandah at the back of the restaurant. The staff are wonderful hard working. The orders for your food are brought to your table right away. I have never been disappointed. Clean with a large washroom.
The food was really good. Love the patio outside. Will come back often.
Love the space and the family run business. It's so cute! The service is awesome and I loved the food. I'll be back 100% !
Liked the vibe of this place. Very nice patio and indoor seating. Tends to get a bit noisy since its super close to the parking lot and alley. But the breeze on the patio is nice and cool. Do try their Ice Tea
