Compared to KingSpark, Crystal Cafe's drinks are default size Large instead of Regular. They also offer convenient lunch box options where you can pick a few dishes to be served on rice, similar to Manchu Wok. So if you're in a rush to get back to work, this place might be for you! They are extremely generous with their portions as well. If you don't have cash, well they accept Debit for orders over $15 which is a huge at Crystal Mall since many places still don't accept card.

I would say that the flavouring is perfect, it's never too saucy or lacking. The service is what you would expect at a food court but they are quite quick with getting you your food. Highly recommend trying them out.

The first time I bought two meals, I asked her to give me an extra pair of chopsticks, but she refused. The second time I bought a dry fried rice noodle, and when I ate it, the rice noodle at the bottom stuck to the paper in the carton. The lemonade tastes terrible.

Horrible attitude from the older waitress. Had sweet sauce chicken noodles, got a small portion of meat with lots of noodles that tastes incredibly bland. It's obvious that they are trying to lower the cost. I would strongly recommend against eating here. NO THANK YOU!

The service was largely subpar, in the sense that they speak to you as though you owe them something. But what really concerned me was the food : the food was also rather disappointing. The curry chicken wasn't spicy and as someone who grew up with that dish in Hong Kong, I know for a fact that it wasn't suppose to taste like that. I really do hope this is just a separate instance, but the chicken I had that day was bland. The curry was the main source of flavor in the dish and unfortunately, the curry simply wasn't up to standard, whether in Vancouver or in Hong Kong.

As a redeeming quality, the portions were big for the price and you can split them into two meals, but I personally didn't do that cuz I think one meal like that was more than enough.

Typical food court’s Hong King style breakfast. You can get beef rice noodle, Two-egg HAM (choice of luncheon meat, sausage or ham) and toast, and a cup of Hong Kong style milk tea or coffee.

Staff are friendly and very efficient when it is busy. You can get your breakfast faster than when you are at McDonald’s.

Two-Eggs HAM and Toast

In food court, you cannot really choose how your eggs can be done. Ham sausage and luncheon meat is not anything particularly high quality and the toast is typical Asian style white toast.

Satay Beef Rice Noodle

There is a expected taste on traditional Hong Kong style satay beef noodles, and it doesn’t really meet that standard. There are two other healthier choices on menu.

Milk tea

The Hong King style milk tea served here is, i would say, quite average. Not particularly good or bad. it is authentic in a way, not the best type of authentic but average.

For under 10 dollars, here you can something somewhat fulfilling. Somewhat comforting if you are from Hong Kong missing some home-style breakfast.

Nothing more you can ask for when tax is included and there is no tips expected.

Parking: Not a single parking for new driver. Lots of tight corners esp when you are heading to B2 and B3.

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible parking and foodcourt
it is very busy during lunch hour

Ordered take out. Beef brisket with glass noodles. The noodles are transparent and thick (not like Korean japchae). It was alright. But the disappointment is only 4 pieces of beef and one of them is utter fat and inedible. Also ordered the soy sauce rice noodles with beef. The noodles was good. A bit salty. But beef was so tough and inedible and few pieces. Giving 2 stars for the cold drinks, added 75c each. Had the milk tea and "Ying Yong". The drinks are good.

My go to in crystal for Asian and asianized western.

They have good food here, the ladies are friendly. Kind of.

I think they've been serving with the most consistent food quality and prices over the last decade.

I recommend their salted fish and chicken fried rice, a classic.

I'd likely come back again, because it make a great bite when you're finished buying groceries.

Fat Cook Papa (Fat Cook Papa)

I ordered two breakfast sets: sausage ➕ fried double egg toast ➕ satay beef rice noodles, plus a frozen lemonade and a hot lemon tea. The portion is generous!

Another dish of shredded pork rice with pickles and vegetables and hot milk tea, the shredded pork seemed a little smaller than the average fast food restaurant, and the taste was bland. not worth!

The CP value of the set meal is good, and the price is worth it! If you want guaranteed food, choose expensive restaurants!
