We have been customers for some time. The kids and I enjoy the cupcakes as their flavours and level of sweetness fit us. You can visit a grocery store if you're looking for cheaper cupcakes, but we like Cupcakes and try to support local businesses. Recommend if you've not tried before.

"My cupcakes are moist and delicious. Men love my cupcakes," so said my favorite Golden Girl. She could have been describing the ones that are selling here at Metrotown Cupcakes, which doubles as not only their flagship store, but also the last surviving one in Vancouver.I've been buying from them for years, and the cupcakes have always been soft and fresh.Generously decorated with buttercream frosting and intricately topped off with unconventional items like Hershey Kisses, miniature cookies and cinnamon buns, candied pumpkins and eyes, marshmallows and fruit, these aren't your grandmother's Sunday Cupcakes.I usually buy 6 in a pack, which is plenty to give you a never~ending sugar high. Once in awhile, I like to bring a pack into work and watch my coworkers drool over them as I put them on my desk in plain view. It's a great way to get some brownie points with your fellow colleagues. Or make that cupcake points. With new Flavours of the Month being spotlighted alongside their fixed ones, it shouldn't be too hard for you to find one or two cupcakes to bring home with you. They also come in various sizes too, from "mini" which can only be bought in pre packaged increments of 12, to their "classic" which is their regular sized cupcakes that can be bought à la carte for about $5 a piece, to their "Big One", a sizable cupcake two times the size of a regular cupcake selling at about $16.Like a lot of other places, Cupcakes also has a loyalty program that doles out special offers, points that can be redeemed for tote bags or a few dollars off your order, or the biggest reward of all, an actual cake {you'll probably be eating cupcakes for the rest of your life to accumulate the points needed to cash in on this one}.Cupcakes are one of the most accessible desserts around, and this Cupcakes store has capitalized on this. Buy one, buy two, they are all delectable. And isn't that the icing on the cake? Make that cupcake.

I have only tried the Velvet cupcake from here. The cake is moist, and the topping is super soft which I love. Very delicious! The customer service has always been great despite the store being located at a busy mall.

It would be nice if cupcakes were a bit less dry and a bit softer. Bit of cream inside the cupcake might

I’m giving them 1 star only because the design of the cake was cute. The taste was awful, and they charged me $52 for not even a standard size cake! It was a mini cake, and for $52, I could have bought a velvet cake from Diplomat Cake. The cream was all sugar. This store is literally a scam; don’t get fooled by the design of the

My daughter's favorite cupcakes. Drove from PoCo just for them

I used to love these cupcakes but as pretty as they are, I'm pretty sure they have changed the icing and it is not good. It's very "airy" where it used to be more solid & creamy. I think there is less butter in it. It had a very petroleum kind of flavour but that may have been from the large sprinkle like decorations. I think I'll be getting my treats elsewhere.

Figured out the issue. Cupcakes should be better labeled so customers know if they are buying classic or deluxe. There was no indication of either or, as they were all mixed together. Women helping the women behind the counter was not friendly at all. Taking off one star because of this but the cupcakes are delicious

Just purchased TGTG today. But the amount of food is ridiculously little. I felt I’ve paid full price for the few mini cupcakes without any discount. What a joke.
