Even though the food is decent (not bad or good, but relatively fresh) the main staff serving and managing cashier together was pretty rude.
Now, I usually judge just by the food quality of a joint that has express services but it goes a long way to if not courteous to not be cold and rude.

This is my favourite place to eat! Everything is always fresh and yummy. I don’t hesitate to travel over an hour from Richmond to get my a must have food 😋😋 Honestly, I don’t get the negative vibes in the comments. Stuff is always nice and smiley ( at least with me) and there isn’t even the tip option on the payment. Maybe every customer should rate this place (not only the whiny ones) and the star score would be different!

Worst bhature ever had when went back to ask them to change it and told her that its not cooked properly and oily she replied “we fry it in oil” well if you’re bad at your job just quit.

Worst ever samosas, it was way too much oily, the customer service was even bad, there was no salt balance in the curry, fun fact, there restaurant name starts with curry. Food was not good at all, and it was way too expensive, I could go for any Chipotle or subway, and there were many other good restaurants with less price.

Girl who was taking order has no knowledge about how to talk with customers, showing so much attitude, even after showing respect as a customer, felt so disappointed. Food, was so oily , u can squeeze the bhature and use it after on your hair.

I visited Curry Express in Metrotown today and had a very disappointing experience with their customer service. I wanted to order a combo and add a non-veg item separately because I’m vegetarian and my husband is not — we just wanted to share. The lady at the counter directly said no without even trying to accommodate.
Since my husband decided not to eat after that, I asked for just a rice bowl without naan, and requested extra curry instead of naan. Again, she refused and told me to take extra rice — but what am I supposed to eat extra rice with if there’s less curry? It made no sense.
Then I ordered a salted lassi without ice, and they still served it with ice. I had to ask them to change it.
Overall, the staff seemed very rigid and unhelpful. There was zero flexibility or willingness to listen to the customer. I won’t be visiting again, and I hope they work on improving their attitude and customer service.

very bad experience. First of all, the lady who was taking orders was very rude and didn’t treat us properly. Secondly, i ordered samosas , they was overcooked even i can’t eat them. When i went to that lady to complain about food she didn’t realize her mistake . Worst experience.

I really enjoy eating here but I especially want to put in a good word for Sanjana who works at the counter! People eat out for a good experience and I believe that tasty food in one's stomach is only part of it. Her friendliness and hard work takes care of the rest. Great food and pleasant employees. Recommended!
