We had a great experience there. The food and hookah were excellent, and the host was very kind. It was a unique and enjoyable experience for us.

The food is very good with a variety of flavors (mixed veggy platter) and excellent friendly service. Compliments to the chef.

Tried tsada Tibs man its filling, taste delicious and you really feel great afterwards too. Great service and staff. Atmosphere was not my fav because there's a bit of smoke as it's open Hookah lounge in the evening around 9/10pm and a little opportunity to improve is lowering down the volume of music as it was loud, it would make the atmosphere a little more calm and chill to hangout. But overall the food is amazing.

My boyfriend took me out for our anniversary and we came here for dinner (7:15 ish pm on a Tuesday, maybe about 10 people in the restaurant including us).
I've never tried Ethiopian food and was really looking forward to it. The moment we came in, the music was blaring loud, the bass turned all the way up, and you couldn't hear anyone talk. My boyfriend and I had to text each other to talk ?.
This place is also a hookah lounge but has zero ventilation and we couldn't breathe properly. Doors and windows closed completely as well.
We asked numerous times if they could turn the music down, and the waitress said she would every time, but then said that "they" keep saying no and won't let her. So we asked to get our dinner to go since we already ordered it.
Food was delicious, but instead of a nice anniversary dinner, we ate at home, again.

Excellent food(when the Owner-Chef cooks!! I had the lamb entre today, which was a sizeable solo portion, it wasn’t too heavy considering that the dish mainly consists of meat, onions, broth and authentic spices! My dish exceptionally tender and the African bread served with the entree soaks up the stew sauce as expected, making it for a very satisfying meal! And beyond the food, the all day hookah is always delicious and acutely taken care of my the kind serving staff, which prolongs the satisfying big clouds of smoke! I tried the tea for the first time and LOVED it! I very much look forward to my next visit!

Not recommended for dine-in. The food is good but impossible to enjoy company. Lightning is exceptionally dark, loud blaring music that you have to yell over. Bathroom was missing toilet seat and the door frame was falling off. Date and I finished food (only got half our order) and left.

Absolutely delicious. I got the vegetarian platter. They gave such a generous portion of a variety of vegetables and lentils that I ate everything I liked the most, and have tons left over for later. The injera is very good, and the red spicy lentil dish is my favourite.

I ordered the Anises Crispy Chicken, which while delicious was not as described. It was not crispy at all... It came served in a puddle of oily sauce and was not battered as described.Quite delicious but not what I expected by their description. I would suggest the name change.
You have to visit Dahlak. The warmest welcome when I arrived. The atmosphere was so cool. I have not even gotten to the food yet. Mmmmmmmm! Wow! The food was out of this world. You must go and expirence it for your self. It's a very cool place to bring a group of friends eat the best food, laugh, listen to music and soak up the amazing vibes.
