The rice noodle rolls are freshly made, but you can really taste the rice batter, which gives them a slightly unusual flavor that might not appeal to everyone. Overall, they’re just okay — not bad, but not great either. The Chinese donut isn’t the traditional Cantonese style; it’s more like a piece of fried bread, so I wouldn’t recommend it.
The egg and minced beef congee, however, is smooth, tasty, and well-balanced in flavor. It’s definitely the highlight of the meal and worth a try. Prices are quite reasonable, making it a decent spot to stop by for a comforting bowl of congee.

The rice rolls were a bit disappointing — the texture wasn’t as smooth and silky as I had hoped, and the sauce was quite limited, which made the overall flavor feel a bit bland. For the price, I expected a better experience, as it wasn’t particularly affordable. The youtiao and century egg congee were decent, but nothing memorable — just fairly average in both taste and presentation.

I think this has been the first time I tried a Rice Roll, I tried combo A and in my opinion it tasted very good, however, a Chinese friend told me that she has seen better Rice Rolls and Congee. I still liked the food so that's why the four stars.

Freshly made to order rice rolls! Above average and delicious! They have sesame, chili, and bean paste sauces you can add yourself on the side. It’s a very thin rice roll on a good way. You need about 2 orders to be full though.

Decent rice rolls at a decent price inside Crystal Mall in Burnaby. Yes the food court and parking lot are overpacked, but the review is strictly on the food.
Service is friendly and if you dine in (lucky enough to find a table), there’s a self serve area for sauces that you can put in your rice rolls.
The soy milk is aptly sweetened and I feel is best served cold. The rice rolls are well made and come in a variety of flavours, beef was my choice. The Chinese donut is a bit more doughy than I would have liked, but tastes good fresh.

Nice silky rice roll! All the sauces were nice. Could use a little more filling. They actually accept debit as well as cash! Who cares about the service it’s the crystal mall food court.
Good food, reasonable prices. Coming back again for sure

The food is good, but has one of the worst the service even for the food court standard. The cashier guy was too lazy to say a single word. Just lean on the side and use finger to point everything. Unbelievable

Not the best
Located in the crystal mall food court. Ordered their combo A (shrimp rice roll) and congee.
Felt like the portioning was good, but shrimp protein was lacking. Rice roll might have had 4 shrimp total, the rest is just rice roll carb.
Congee was so bland. Could use more seasoning.
Both dishes for $15, not bad.
