My office just moved to this area, found this place few days ago, I’m Mexican and I was shocked how authentic this food tastes, definitely my new number 1 place to go for lunch.

Delicious food.

A great authentic restaurant. Food is great, you can buy mexican products like hot sauces and tortillas. I definitely recommend eating here.

Good food but zero service. Lady sits behind counter and stares at you like youre supposed to cook for her. Too bad. Have been here for 6 or 7 meals but I wont be back due to their laziness. If you dont want to serve ppl then shut down the restaurant and just sell your goods..... fail.

Food was very good, filling and held up well for take out. Will definitely be visiting again.

OK, though I am not so fond of Mexican foods.

Showed up at 4:30. Sign says open until 5. Apparently the kitchen closes “around 4 sometime”. Would be fabulous to know that somewhere instead of wasting time
Driving around hthe kitchen for absolutely nothing ????????????

If you are visiting Burnaby Lake, you should consider grabbing lunch or dinner. El Comal is a 2 minute drive from the lake. Authentic food, great flavor and generous portions at a reasonable price.
