If you are visiting Burnaby Lake, you should consider grabbing lunch or dinner. El Comal is a 2 minute drive from the lake. Authentic food, great flavor and generous portions at a reasonable price.

What kind of business is only open for 5 hours from Monday to Friday? My mother and I have been here twice on the weekend and it has been closed. This was our preferred place for Mexican products as they had great quality tortillas and delicious tamales and other items for take-out. I understand that this is due to new ownership, but I would guess that a lot of business is being lost by being closed on the weekend.
I have not eaten here but I used to buy Latin ingredients to cook with. Unfortunately they barely have anything on their shelves anymore. Very disappointed.

Had the burrito combo with a coke, with tip it only cost $20. So much food and the favour was on point! Will absolutely come back here again and try something else on the menu.
