Famoso Italian Pizzeria - Solo

We ordered our food two hours before pick-up and was told when we arrived that the order had not gone through…. Even though we had an email and the charge clearly on the credit card. We had to wait another 30 min for the food to be made.

If this were the first time, I’d give them a pass. But our last pick-up order was just plain late. We arrived to pick up the pizzas and they had not even started making them!

I would advise to call ahead before you pick up your pizzas to make sure 1) the order has indeed gone through and 2) they are not backed up.

Great food. Awful service. Take out menu is a lottery. One time was 20 mins late. Second time they called me when food was supposed to be ready, two hours after ordering to say there was an issue and I need to wait another 30 mins.

Food quality is good. But the online takeout option is a complete lottery.

I ordered through Uber eats, even tho I live close but It was cold. ?

We came here for family pizza. We ordered two pizzas- one we asked without olives. We ordered some other food and drink items which all came at different times. But then our “no olive” pizza came with olives. So we sent it back and The server had told us they were making a new pizza which reappears 15 minutes later WITH THE OLIVES PICKED OFF. You could see the holes where they were and some olives remained. No explanation- I get the feeling this happens daily. We were so grossed out we couldn’t finish anything and left. Honestly sickening.

I’ll start off by saying the staff working was friendly and they were attentive to our needs throughout our visit. The restaurant itself was fairly empty when we arrived but it started to fill up as the hour went on.

The biggest con for us was unfortunately the food…. I had famosa 4 years ago in new Westminster and had a really good experience. But the pizza I had today was very off. There was a funky smell to the pizza that I could explain and the pizza itself was also like warm at best in temperature.

They do free margherita pizza with a purchase of another pizza from 4-9 which is a solid deal. I would have appreciated it that much more though if the pizza tasted better. With Claudio just across the street, this specific location will need to up their pizza game if they want to compete.

Sadly was not good like the other locations. I ordered two 15" pizzas and they were so undercooked the middle of the pizza was just raw dough. I have ordered from the Commercial Drive location before over the years, but we moved and were excited we had some decent pizza nearby, but we were very disappointed. We won't order from this location again. Worse than any major fast food chain pizza restaurants.

Me and my family went to Famoso Pizza tonight after a long journey to find a restaurant for our family dinner.This restaurant is combined with Ricky and both have their menus. So we decided to try the Famoso one.Foods were amazing and delicious. Everything was tasty—the pizza, pasta and salad.Also, the staff members were friendly. Even the manager of the night was helping around.Thanks to them for making us a great night.

I was excited to try this new place that opened up as I'm a pizza fanatic. We ordered Uber Eats and got a pizza, salad, and garlic bread delivered.Absolutely terrible food and value…The garlic bread was basically the size of my hand and was a heated up piece of nan.We paid $18 for the full ceaser salad which I was expecting to be very large. It showed up in a tiny box and no joke was just green leaves with 2 croutons with dressing on the side. The worst salad I've ever seen or had especially for that price. We ended up adding our own croutons and cheese. Otherwise we would have just been eating green leaves.The pizza cheese wasn't even melted and the dough tasted like it wasn't fully cooked. It was hard to even get through one slice let alone an entire pizza. The taste isn't right and I don't think they have the recipe down.We even got the pizza free with an Uber Eats promo. We still spent almost $30 for this order and were extremely disappointed in the food amount and quality.Pizza is a pretty easy thing to make. I can't say I've ever had a “bad” pizza experience. But this one definitely takes it…We will not order or eat from here again. I would recommend going somewhere else. There are other options right beside it.

Pizza was good in this place, but not anymore. It arrived burned, and fresh basil leaves that I ordered as additional are looking like dead for a week. Also, I decided to order a salad for the first time, and it arrived with no sauce, as it was supposed to be, believing a description, and had too much of old leaves inside.
