I've always enjoyed dropping by when I'm back in the old neighbourhood and picking up some goodies from here. Service has always been good and I enjoy my go-to baked goods. Everyone has different taste buds so I suggest tasting a variety of items and seeing what you like best.

Fortuna is my go to bakery for custom cakes. They can do anything and always deliver high quality. This year’s birthday cake for my son was everything I hoped for. Guests were raving about the detailed design but when they took a bite all the raves were about how fresh and delicious the cake was. Highly recommended.

I wanted to thank Luisa and Loan for their wonderful customer service. My daughter absolutely loved her Taylor Swift themed birthday cake. The cake itself was very moist and beautifully decorated by Loan. Everyone at the party raved about how good it tasted! Thank you again for going above and beyond!

Okay for fortuna bakery. I gave them a 5 out of five stars for every single thing because the food is amazing. I always get food there when I can and they also make sandwiches now which is super delicious. You can choose your own ham. You can choose your own cheese and other other stuff if you want more stuff in it. It's super delicious! The service is always amazing. They always say hello when you come in and then they always try to help their customers as fast as they can because most of them are really like really really busy. But you know honestly you just have to have patience because fortuna bakery is one of those bakeries that is very well known and is very popular. So if you if anybody goes to that bakery just be patient. You know, don't be rude to the workers cuz they're you know they're trying their best. But like I said otherwise, our service is amazing and they're super friendly and that's what I love about it. And that's for the atmosphere goes. If you want to sit down and have coffee or like little pastries or whatever you're welcome to. They have limited seating yes, but they probably have like three tables with three chairs each. I believe sometimes I got but you know to be honest ly everybody that I've seen that goes into that bakery but take it to go because their food is that delicious and the coffee. Their coffee is so good as well. And like I said they're they're super friendly as well too. So you can't go wrong. You can't go wrong with going to have a look or a visit for tuna bakery because they're that good

This place is way too expensive for the pastries and cakes that are sold here. Portuguese Christmas cake has hardly any fruit and nuts and looks more like a cookie than a cake also the Portuguese natas pale in comparison to the ones they used to sell.

Great customer service and a great selection of baked. I fell and hurt my shoulder and smashed my new phone. The smooth design by the front door is very slippery. Safety issue, otherwise it would have been 5 stars from me. Please be careful with winter coming. Others might not be as fortuna as me. Otherwise, a great store with top notch Portuguese buns.

Great service and professional. I put in a special order for a mini cake for my partner’s birthday and they made us a beautiful delicious cake. I ended up not being able to pick up the cake myself due to getting sick but they ensured the cake was available for pick up at the correct time. We will recommend this place to all our friends.
Local hastings staple! Clean and welcoming , our family has tried most items. Some are top notch, like the eclair and apple turnovers but some others are hit or miss.

We got a dozen Mario cupcakes for my daughters 5th birthday, on really short notice, at Fortuna - they looked amazing, they tasted great, and my daughter freaked out over the tiny stars sprinkles they added eyes to. Like 50 of them. 5 out 5, will be back.

I had the misfortune to buy bread in this bakery.It was my first time but most definitely will be my last.The loaf I bought was a large Portuguese bread.I paid $8 (!!) for a loaf that crumbled as soon as I opened the bag.I thought it was a bit strange and was hoping that at least it would taste good.No luck there, it is really dry and stale.I think the bread was a day or 2 old.I tried to make a sandwich with it but couldn't even finish it.I honestly can say it is the worse loaf of bread I have ever had.Of course I could have gone back to the store but I live 35 minutes away from there.Instead I bought a loaf at Cobs down the street. It was much better and 3 times cheaper. But we could have a decent lunch with it.And I don't even like Cobs that much.What a disappointment!An expensive lesson.
