Great variety of items for the home. Not just flowers. Lots of BC made items. Jams, sauces, home decor, and other specialty unique items. Can spend quite a bit of time in the store looking at everything. Friendly staff all over the store to assist with questions.

Had to pick up and order some Pansys here and it was easy and simple. Super kind service from the workers there and they helped me find what I want. Cats are a great bonus too. 10/10
I thought this place was just a nursery but no, it's an âšexperience âš. I can aisle this place for days, it's an excellent place to get gifts. Great selection of indoor and outdoor plants. Home decor, treats, books, clothes, they have it all. There's a cute cafe as well with a cozy fireplace. The staff are really kind and knowledgeable and provide excellent service.

I recently started getting into indoor house plants so I made the trip to Gardenworks for the first time (I still remember watching the ads as a kidââGardenworks! Everything you need to make your garden work!â).
Gardenworks is hands down an adult Disneyland for plant lovers! I was blown away! Not only do they have their garden centre, but they also have a cute retail area and a whole CAFE! My partner and I spent so long there that we ended up having brunch at the cafe too. It was delicious and the entire experience has made me want to go back every weekend!
I also noticed there were signs saying that there were cats playing, and so I asked the staff about it and they kindly let me meet and play with their resident cats, Tomato and Basil! Theyâre so adorable and I canât wait to go back! Hereâs Tomato in action!

We held a Pumpkin Giveaway party for our clients at the Mandeville location. It was excellent! The pumpkins were perfect and the staff were friendly and easy to work with. Ashley, Bailee and Rainier were fantastic! Thank you Gardenworks for making our event fun and easy!
This is a wonderful place! they have everything I need for my garden, from plants to tools and more. It's always so relaxing to shop here. Definitely one of my favourite spots for garden shopping!

Not only the garden center and retail section (you can find seasonal decorations all year long!) but their service is simply unparalleled in my experience. I have been a customer of GardenWorks for many years, but my yesterday experience was extremely disappointing.
Over four years ago, I bought a Kiwi Issai from their storeïŒ4746 Marine Dr, Burnaby ïŒThe label clearly states that itâs a self-fertile variety that will produce fruit without a pollinator, but despite blooming every year and being well cared for (I even spent over $100 on fertilizer), it never produced a single fruit. This is a clear case of a product not matching its description.
When I went to the store to explain the situation and showed video and the original plant tag from GardenWorks, the woman in charge was extremely rigid and refused to consider a return simply because I no longer had the receipt â even though it had been more than four years. She even called another staff member to tell me to leave the store, which was both rude and unnecessary.
Eventually, the store manager came out and agreed I could dig up the plant and bring it back. But the same woman insisted I must bring the entire plant â roots and all â even though itâs now huge after more than four years, which felt like she was making things difficult for me on purpose.
I left feeling very disappointed with the service and the attitude I received from the person in charge. While I appreciate the managerâs willingness to resolve the issue, the way I was treated by that staff member was unacceptable.

Lots of Christmas decorations and Christmas trees etc around this time of the year. The café has great food.

We brought our friends to this cafĂ© â weâve come here many times before and always chose this place. Two of us sat at a table for four while the others were placing their order, and instead of normal customer service, a staff member came over and spoke to us in a bossy, dismissive way, telling us to leave the table. It felt rude, embarrassing, and completely unnecessary.
If the policy is âfirst come, first serve,â staff should be trained to communicate it respectfully. With prices that are not cheap, the service should be much better â and even the variety of food is not great to begin with.
Instead of investing in proper customer care or creating a clear system â like having someone manage seating or using a wait-list â they choose to handle situations in a way that makes guests feel unwelcome. There are plenty of outdoor tables as well; insulating that area could easily improve the flow instead of pushing customers away.
Weâve been regular customers for years, but after today, we will think twice before coming again. Customer service is the foundation of any business â and if this is how they treat guests, itâs hard to imagine keeping loyal customers for long.

Gardenworks is such a lovely store with so many great plants and gardening tools. The staff really know their stuff and are super helpful. Masha was especially kind, she helped me with choosing fertilizer and finding the perfect pot. The cafĂ© is also great, and itâs so nice to wander around the store with a coffee in hand.

You really canât go wrong with any of the GardenWorks locations, and this is another great one. Itâs a big space with lots to explore with plants, garden supplies, home dĂ©cor, and more. I especially appreciate how educational their plant signage is, itâs helpful and makes browsing even more enjoyable. Everything is well laid out, and the selection is excellent.
