I really like a cafe that feels family owned, and I really appreciate the care you receive from a business like this. I was greeted so warmly, the woman running the shop made me a bubble waffle with whipped cream and a honey lemon tea, and I enjoyed both immensely. I sat at a little table and peacefully studied for an hour, and I enjoyed the ambiance. It's not a modern, Western interior. It's the same sort of vibe you would get at Happy Day Cafe. Great service and yummy food!
I'm glad this cafe exists close to home. I can't believe I didn't know about it before, and I will definitely bring a friend next time.

We came here on a Sunday afternoon. The worker/owner was sound asleep at one of the tables at the back, with their head tilted all the way back and their mouth wide open. We thought they had passed away. After a couple of minutes in the store, they woke up and was surprised they had customers.
After we looked at the menu (pictures on the wall), we tried to order several items but were told they were not available.
The counter area also looked dirty.
We decided to leave and head to the Starbucks by the Petro-Canada just down the road.

A very nice and warm welcoming cafe. The lady working here was very nice and gave me a wonderful cozy vibe. As if you’re visiting a caring relative. She was very kind and made sure we all found a drink we would enjoy.
The drinks are very delicious and I was very pleased. They use real fruits for some of their drinks and they were very refreshing.
We got 20% off our drinks. The lady told us for the winter months there is 20% off for the season.
I will definitely be back!
I recommend either of the two drinks we got or something made with real fruits!

I have been a frequent customer at Gathering Cafe. They offer a wide selection of high quality drinks (lattes, milk tea) that are made organically on the spot. The owner uses fresh fruits and ingredients instead of syrup for their drinks, and still maintain a very, very good price. I highly recommend a honeycomb coffee latte and pumpkin latte as they warm you up on a cold day.

So glad we stumbled across this super cute cafe while our car was being serviced nearby. It was the perfect place to hang out for an hour. The chocolate bubble waffle and blueberry smoothie with salt milk cover were both freshly made and delicious, and so affordable! We will definitely be back if we are ever in the area. We were impressed and there are lots of things on the menu we want to try. Cute place to study or for a quiet hang out with friends.

Our bubble waffles were nice. Sweet, decent whip cream, but very little fruits. Strawberry was served frozen. Would have been nice if the lady had defrosted it.
Service took a long time even though we were the only ones there.
Taro bbt used jasmine tea so tasted very different. Because she blended the ice, the bubbles became super hard.
Ambiance is not great. It feels like an order to-go place.
Came here for bbt and they definitely have affordable options 6-7 dollars for a bbt. Facilities are extremely old - the building interior had an unpleasant smell to it. As for the drinks themselves, pearls were extremely soft as if they’d been sitting around for days. I would not recommend coming here. Sun Tea within the Safeway complex is a much better experience.
