Last time I was here was during pandemic times and it was just a takeout window. Now that it's in its full glory as an school soda fountain, it was a great visit! Outstanding banana splits that we drove from Surrey to get. So glad we came back!

If you’re eating in person, the shop is cute and the food is good. BUT…. Good luck ever getting an order from this business on UberEats…. Their business hours clearly mean nothing… or the staff just don’t feel like making the orders… we have tried to order from them probably 10 times in the last few weeks, and EVERYTIME they just cancel the order or they aren’t accepting orders even though it’s way before their closing time. We just placed an order at 6pm, hours say they’re open until 9pm and the order was cancelled. This was never the case previously, it just feels like their staff don’t want to make the orders. When we first discovered this place we ordered from them all the time, and they were awesome. Now good luck getting anything from them. If you want desert and want to support a local business - find another one, this one can’t be bothered.

Updated for February of 2024. Very disappointed, my favourite treat (banoffee split) in the city is now $14 and they changed the way it's served to a way I don't like. They won't make an exception and make it that way, if you ask. You used to be able to get the split in the to go cup, now you can only get it in the boat. It changes the ratio of toppings and in the boat it turns into ice cream soup. It's also not convenient to walk with a boat dish.If you're going to charge $14 for ice cream you should really just accommodate your customer.
