Been going to Green & Oak since they initially opened and still visit this place pretty often. I’m so glad they were one of the businesses to survive the pandemic. They are definitely one of if not the best Malaysian restaurants in the city. My go-to dish has always been the mee goreng as pictured. Also roti chanai and hainanese chicken is also a for sure recommendation.
I have been to Green & Oak more than 3 times, before the pandemic, and somehow I have forgotten about how delicious their food is. I came here tonight, years later, and it blew me away how delicious everything here still is! Must have: Hainan chicken (moist and tender), roti (charbroil taste), laksa (with a surprising kick), green beans with eggplant (rich laksa paste), any noodle or rice dishes!
