You come to this place not for the decor or service but for the elevated pho and spring rolls. Their fried rolls are possibly the best in the world. The pho is heartier and more savoury than in most other pho places. Prices are seasonable and the owner is nice.

i asked for curry masala and they don't have? why not have? I check website menu online and they claim to serve tikki masala. Lies! Bhayaanak! I saw bugs crawling around. Unbelieve.

I found this hidden gem by chance and am lucky enough to live close by. The owners are wonderful. The food is tasty and made fresh. The portions are huge especially if ordering vermicelli noodles with lemon grass pork, pork patty and spring rolls. Their Bahn Mi is also delicious. I highly recommend this place. Other places charge more and give less.

I visited this pho restaurant recently and was really disappointed with their service. First of all, they automatically charged me 10% extra, claiming it was a “tip.” When I pointed out that tipping is my decision, not theirs, they refused to remove the charge. It felt incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional.
As for the food, it was mediocre at best—about a 3/5. Definitely not worth the hassle or the extra money they tried to squeeze out of me. There are plenty of other pho places where you’ll get better food and fairer treatment. I won’t be coming back here.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. The food is authentic, large amounts of meat; with a mixture of the chiefs special touch added and it is affordable.

It was tastier than I expected.
Spring rolls are delicious!
They only accept cash, so if you run out of cash, you can withdraw money from RBC at the Crystal Mall right behind you.

I've been coming to this restaurant for several years and it's literally one of the tastiest and most affordable restaurants ever. If you don't like one of their soup noodles, try something else.
I love their lemongrass chicken plates, their sandwiches, the chicken wings, the rice paper roles, and the dry noodles. They're all literally so good and good to share as well.
Yes it's cash only but it's literally so cheap. And for those complaining about tip being included in the bill, it's 10%. Literally all other restaurants these days charge 15% upward for tips and as someone who has been coming to this restaurants for years, when we try to give more than 10%, the owner literally rejects the extra so hopefully that gives you a glimpse of why there is tip added in the bill. The restaurant is literally trying to make sure the food is an affordable price without customers feeling pressured to give extra tips.
Don't let the negative reviews give a bad impression of this restaurant. It's literally one of the best hole in the wall restaurants that I can guarantee, you will find multiple items you like to eat here.

Cheap and delicious Kyoto noodles with soy sauce, and only a 10% tip. It is worth recommending, a store with high CP value.

I came to this place because my favourite place that I usually go to was close, it was really hot inside, I will not say that I got any service, I just ordered but nobody checked on my table or to see if I needed more water. Also, I didn’t like that the TIP (that is supposed to be VOLUNTARY) was included with not asking, they do have notes on the restaurant, but I don’t think this should be the way, and at least if I’m getting charged for a service, I would like to see that reflected. The food was OK, but not as delicious as I was expecting due to the reviews, probably not coming back.
Expensive as well.

Parking: Located outside a busy Chinese mall, looking for a parking space is a bit difficult. Try your luck!

$1 charged to my bill for paying with debit (credit not accepted). Debit transactions are charged a single transaction rate – regardless of the value of the purchase. It generally costs merchants under 10 cents to process each debit transaction, though the fee can be as high as 40 cents. This amount does not change, whether the purchase is for $5 or $5,000. Make sure to deduct $0.90 from your intended tip. Also only the percentage option is given for tips, not the absolute amount. I would have tipped $5 tip if I wasn’t charged this $1 for this debit transaction. Instead you get nothing for tipping yourself $0.90 from your dishonest $1 fee.If you pay cash, make sure you deduct the 5% GST charge from your tip as they are not remitting this to the CRAFood was fine. But you get 1 star for lying to me.

Although the ventilation system of the store needs to be strengthened, the food is good. Currently it’s the Vietnamese beef noodle dish that I’ve had in Burnaby that’s pretty good. Will go back to eat
