I used to visit often about a decade ago. Recently I stopped by again and it has become much less competitive than before. The house special pho was subpar. The bean sprouts and lime were added in already. There were signs stating the 10% tip was included in the bill. For the price they are charging, the portion is not justified. No parking lot, and inconvenient to get to. Really, I don’t recommend the crystal mall parking lot. Go to Super Bowl, which is a couple streets down...
You come to this place not for the decor or service but for the elevated pho and spring rolls. Their fried rolls are possibly the best in the world. The pho is heartier and more savoury than in most other pho places. Prices are seasonable and the owner is nice.
I found this hidden gem by chance and am lucky enough to live close by. The owners are wonderful. The food is tasty and made fresh. The portions are huge especially if ordering vermicelli noodles with lemon grass pork, pork patty and spring rolls. Their Bahn Mi is also delicious. I highly recommend this place. Other places charge more and give less.
