Over priced.
I recently visited Green Leaf Sushi and had a pretty decent experience overall. The service stood out as very good—staff were attentive and friendly, which added a nice touch to the meal. The décor, on the other hand, felt a little “so-so,” nothing bad but nothing particularly memorable either.
In terms of food, I tried several dishes: the seaweed salad, beef teriyaki don, wild salmon sashimi, and agedashi tofu. The sashimi was fresh and enjoyable, and the beef teriyaki don was hearty, though fairly standard. The agedashi tofu was crisp and pleasant, and the seaweed salad was refreshing. Everything was solid, though not mind-blowing.
Overall, I’d say it was an **okay experience**—not bad at all, but not exceptional either. Prices are definitely on the higher side, which makes the value feel a bit stretched given the quality and atmosphere.
Would recommend if you’re in the area and don’t mind paying a little extra for good service and decent sushi.

As a customer, I hope that when I order pasta, forks are provided without me having to ask. Also, the spoons for eating rice should not be the kind used for noodle soup; it's really hard to get the rice into my mouth with those. The food and the price are truly excellent.

One of the best sushi spots in Vancouver. Absolutely enjoyed this.
It was my first time visiting, and it exceeded my expectations! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, checking on our table frequently. The food came out super fast, which was a pleasant surprise. But the best part? Free refills on soft drinks — such a thoughtful and appreciated touch! Little things like this really make the whole experience more enjoyable. I’d definitely love to come back again!

Good place for Oshi (pressed) sushi. Tasty fish, well prepared. Got salmon and yukke tuna. The jelly fish salad is a pleasant surprise- big salad with lettuce greens, corn, radish, cherry tomatoes, small rice noodles (prepared so it tastes like shark fin) and jelly fish on top, all dressed in a mild miso peanut dressing.
This place is located with a former hotel about initially looks a bit run down from the outside. Eclectic interior as it has a bunch of retro deco. Large clean interior. There’s not too much parking onsite but easy to find street parking nearby. There’s a private room that you can probably book.
