Terrible Service and Deceptive PracticesMy experience at this place was incredibly disappointing. The waitress, sporting purple hair, was consistently rude and unhelpful throughout our visit. When we attempted to place our order, she rolled her eyes and made us wait an excruciating 25 minutes before taking our order. Despite having a $50 gift card and a $41 meal total, she adamantly refused to allow us to use the remaining balance for another item. After discovering a $7 brownie that fit within the remaining balance, she falsely claimed it would be $2 over due to tax. However, after recalculating, it was evident that the brownie was still within the gift card's limit. To top it off, when the brownie finally arrived, it was missing the ice cream that was supposed to accompany it. This level of service is unacceptable.I hope this review serves as a warning to others considering dining here. The management needs to address their staff's behavior and ensure that guests are treated with respect and honesty.

Poor serviceFood came before drinks but sent back due to waiting 35-40 minutes of server getting the sizes wrong, flavors wrong, bartender ran out of kegs on the menu.Came in on April 19th before 12pm with server StephanieWas she hogging the tips for that lunch or did someone call in sick? Another server had to run my food for her.Pulled Brisket Sliders looked good (for $16 too!) Disappointed I sent it back. AI Servers please come soon ?

Best the pub has been in years.Latest reno/refresh has really brought some life back to the BCIT pub. Bar has been brought down to the lower level which grants it easier access to the majority of the seating. New, stylish high-back couches create booth-like areas with moderate privacy.Menu offers up a better selection of burgers, sandwiches and other pub affair in the 11-15 range. Personally, I think this is the best option for food in terms of flavour if you have the option to wait (sit down or take out). I would love for an option order online or via app(prepay) and pick up.Original review was 2018, update for 2024: Most of the burgers/sandwiches are $18 now making this a poor lunch option and an okay dinner option.

Paid around 19 dollars for a pretty small portion of K-BBQ that was average at best. Server was a bit rude and did not seem happy to be working there.

The food and everything is good but the server is one of the worst I have ever met. I will not be returning to that place if the same guy is the server, it’s well known about bcit people that guy is rude and a bad server

Good place for students to have a time together when on campus.
I would love to visit this pub but it’s always closed. In all the time I’ve been taking evening classes, I haven’t been able to grab dinner before class. It would be great to get off work, relax a bit, and then get to my learning, but it closes an hour and a half before my class even starts. Forget having a beer after class with classmates at 9 pm. It’s not open even on weekends, so students that would get out early enough can’t enjoy it either.

It's ok, usual pub fare. Service can be slow when busy.

Great staff! Food is definitely above average. Typical Pub fare.

Came here for lunch and ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich. Fair portion size, but wish it came with a bit more pulled pork for the $15 price tag. The BBQ sauce wasn't excessive, just the right amount so it wasn't spilling out of the bun. Decent and plentiful fries (could also substitute for a salad). The crispy onions maintained their crisp. Came with a group and did have to wait a while for the food, perhaps a lack of kitchen staff as there were other groups also dining in. Still, a good dining option on campus!
