Came here tonight for my birthday dinner with my family. Yes, they do still have their birthday special. It has to be on your exact birthday, you must show ID, and it has to be a party of at least 4.
There is a menu you order from twice. It has the standard hotpot items. You can pay a bit more for the premium menu. They have an area for sauces, and a couple of areas for other food like fried chicken, marinated pork bones, stir fried noodles, dessert items, they include ice cream, but you must ask the wait staff for it.
Overall, it was a good experience. Great service starting with the person that took my initial call asking about the birthday special. I'm guessing it was the manager? Way to go. Great value for the price paid.
Free parking in the parkade downstairs that has an elevator you can take to the 2nd floor from P1. Or you can use street parking, but it is meter parking.
Good value for the AYCE! My friends and I love this place.
I came to this location for AYCE because Richmond Happy Lamp Hot Pot doesn’t offer it. Unfortunately, I left feeling really disappointed and frustrated. I had been here about a year ago and had a great experience — the food was good and the price was fair. This time, while the food was still decent, the service was honestly terrible — if I could give negative stars for service, I would.
When we placed our first order, we tried to get the attention of the servers, but no one came for over five minutes to pick up our order sheet. Later, we ordered pop, which is supposed to come with free refills, but every time we needed a refill, we couldn’t get any staff to help us. I even had to walk up to the front counter carrying my cup just to ask for a refill. Same thing happened when we wanted ice cream at the end — no one was available to help. And, I need to walk to the counter to pay my bill???
I don’t understand why they don’t hire one or two more staff to help out during peak dinner hours. I even saw some customers standing at the entrance for quite a while, waiting to be seated, and no one greeted or assisted them. I truly hope they improve their service. I still left a small tip out of respect for how hard the staff work, but definitely not 15%, because we genuinely had an unpleasant experience and left feeling disappointed.
An alternative choice to chocho.
For those who want less price than Chocho but still want all you can eat, this is a good choice.
Soooooo slow to get served meat. Waited over 20mins every time I ordered. I am pretty sure they did it on purpose. It would be my last time to visit here. Quaility and Service are getting worse and worse since 2018. Better pay more and visit ChoCho or Xiaolongkan.
Happy Lamb offers a late-night all you can eat hot pot starting at 8:30 pm for $29.99. The price includes unlimited beef, lamb, and a good variety of vegetables. Compared to places like Marble House, the menu here includes more cooked items such as lamb bones, kimchi, and other hot dishes.
The soup base has solid flavour and a good balance. The ice cream at the end tastes artificial, but that may come down to personal preference.
Overall, the experience includes a wide range of ingredients and hot dishes in a casual setting.
Very disappointed with the service. Waiters did not respond when asking for utensils, asked yam noodles three times and ended up telling us they ran out. They could at least notify us. The restaurant was not even busy at the time. Very disappointed.
Food was fresh and good. Was sitting at the side corner. Didn’t have much server but overall was good :)

Our family of 10 just landed back in Vancouver ag 5pm after 4 days in California. We were hungry and didn't know what to eat. Good thing Happy Lamb Hot Pot could accommodate us! Food and service here has always been good since we have been eating here for the past 10+ years.
$30-$40 per person all you can eat is worth it. Compared to California where each meal we paid $20-$30 USD per person per meal! It's good to be back where Vancouver has the best variety of food at descent price.
Here they have deep fried chicken wings and lamb/pork bones ready to eat if you are hungry and can't wait for you hot pot food to come out.
Parking: The CIBC parking is from 8am-5pm underground, but you can park there after 5pm.

I was a part of group treated as guests on a Thursday to a birthday- food was great, good variety and pretty good flavor/cuts. We controlled the heat temps. of the not-spicy vs. spicy sides of the pot, and ensure our food pieces(incl. raw meat and seafood) were cooked to food safety.
It was a full night but we didn't really get asked if we needed anything in the 1½-2hrs. we were there and definitely had to put out effort to get a server's attention even for napkins, or more food; request for water was <potentially> forgotten.
Atmosphere was humming, not loud as in music, but we definitely had to speak up and listen in.
All around, everyone left very full without discomfort, and enjoyed the hot pot experience.
Parking: I'd encourage to leave time to find parking:
Parking was NOT easy for me to get, and for some reason I had a significant issue with paying for underground parking, so I drove till I found free parking...a few blocks away to out my mind at ease.
A bit of a tangle with busy traffic on one side of the building and the sheer concentration of parked cars most everywhere.
Wheelchair accessibility: NOT wheelchair friendly: never mind the parking challenge, the actual restaurant is up a flight or so of stairs, and then I'm not sure there's much room for a wheelchair inside.

Happy Lamb is hands down our favourite restaurant! The food is always amazing, but what truly sets this place apart is their incredible team. Victor is fantastic, and Ling has become like family to us, every time we visit, she takes the time to entertain our toddler so we can enjoy a rare moment of peace during dinner. The other servers are fantastic as well. Very attentive to our needs. The level of care and thoughtfulness here is unmatched. It’s the perfect spot for a family meal, yet also ideal for date nights. We love bringing our parties here too, every experience is always top-notch. Thank you, Happy Lamb, for being such a special place for us. We absolutely love it!

You will never leave hungry 😋 they just added some more buffet items. Staff are fast. Since they don't cook the food for you it's comes out of the kitchen fast and fresh. Always happy to bring friends or family to the happy lamb 😊

We came here for a Christmas get together. The food was very decent. The beef slices were tender and nice. Worth getting it for sure. The lamb was only okay.
Would recommend for big groups, too. We had the all you can eat option for lunch.
