Based on the good reviews we decided to try Hon sushi out. A bit disappointed on most fronts. We tend to enjoy a menu in hand. Even if it’s QR code menu, we expected a server to take our order. But it was a tablet that you put your order into and then your order was brought out. Atmosphere was also left a lot to be desired.
We got a 8 piece salmon/tuna sashimi. Overall, fish was good quality and pleasant tasting, no fishiness. However, the slices were definitely on the thinner side.
The beef teriyaki was flavourless and dry despite being a good sized portion. Only a little drizzle of sauce on the beef and lots of watery liquid at the bottom.
It was just okay. Probably won’t return.

You shouldn’t call the driver over if the order isn’t ready. They’re trying to make a living too. They have multiple deliveries, and making them wait 20–25 minutes delays other customers and leads to complaints. The drivers end up getting blamed for something that isn’t their fault. Don’t sacrifice other people’s time and income for your own gain. It’s selfish.
