Really nice location. Came here to celebrate my birthday and everyone was so attentive. Our waiter was very patient as it was our first time dining in this restaurant. Menu choice was a bit limited, but they tasted good! I ordered the new york steak while my friend ordered the duck breast. Portion was huge, the duck breast seems a little bit overcooked tho. I heard that the restaurant is closing soon. I wished I had found the place earlier, we've mentioned something about coming back in the future, it's sad it probably won't happen.

My wife and I are really disappointed that the City of Burnaby and Horizons Restaurant on Burnaby Mountain could not come to an agreement for Horizons Restaurant to continue to operate their business after February, 2020.

My wife and I received a gift card for Horizons for Christmas and then just heard that they're closing for good in a couple of weeks, so we went for brunch today. It wasn't terribly busy when we got in, so we figured we'd get pretty decent service. We were wrong. We waited for 10 minutes to have our order taken. Even people who were seated after we were had their orders taken before us. After our order was finally taken, the food arrived quickly and was not only delicious, but quite a generous portion, although for $18 a plate, you'd expect to get something substantial. The person coming to refill our water was the most attentive to us. No one else came to our table for almost 20 minutes. After we finished our meal, we waited almost 20 minutes to grt our bill and then another 10 minutes to have our gift card processed. Honestly, if you don't mind meh service with food priced a bit high, then go enjoy one last meal at Horizons before the shut down forever.

Had a really good meal here for dine out Vancouver. Granted I’m sure the menu isn’t their standard one at this time but the food tasted great. Service was really fast as they wanted to turn the tables over for the next group. The views are great from here. The duck and steak we had were well prepared

The view was pretty, service was average. The food was not great. The bread they brought before our meal was cold and tasted exactly like the bread you get on an airplane. My dinner we pretty mediocre, very salty and the taste wasn't anything special.

It's a good restaurant with a great view, but suffers the same problems as a lot of restaurants with a great view: the food isn't phenomenal, you're paying for the view. It's not bad, but could use with a major update, something more new and modern rather than the somewhat '90s menu they currently have. But the view is amazing, both day and night, and the wine and cocktail list is great!

Service 5 star for sure! Was here for the birthday dinner on dine out. Was a wonderful night. I ordered salmon. The cook was perfect, but i could still taste the ocean-y smell. Still had an amazing night. Loved the cream brule!!!!
