I go to Metrotown often to eat, but this is the healthiest and most enjoyable meal I've had.
TIKI, YUZU, and KOKO are all delicious, The ingredients, including the vegetables, are very fresh and the ratio to rice is just right.
I think I'll come here often~👍

Tried Hula after a shopping trip in Metrotown. It’s more of a 3.5 stars for me. Tbh all the ingredients were fresh, and I enjoyed the different variety of bowls they have. That said, I really don’t think this qualifies as poke, it’s more like a salad with lots of poke toppings. With that said, I got the Tropical and really enjoyed the pineapple and toasted coconut flake toppings. Service was lovely and the ladies were super helpful and prompt.

Bowl was full of flavour, variety of veggies and toppings and protein! I love that they don’t overprice their chicken, because I don’t eat fish, thank you! Looking forward to trying the other bowls with chicken and different sauces. The staff was very friendly. I really enjoyed this poke lunch, much better than the other poke places I’ve tried! (Some of them don’t even have chicken)

I recently visited Hula Poke Bowl in Metrotown and had a fantastic experience. The restaurant was clean and had a bright, welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The menu offered a great variety of options, catering to all dietary preferences with vegan and gluten-free choices. I ordered the classic poke bowl of the Koko with salmon, Kimch, and it was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The ingredients were vibrant and well-balanced, and the portion size was generous for the price.Service was top-notch; the staff was friendly and quick to help me customize my bowl exactly how I wanted it. I also appreciated the speedy service, as my meal was prepared in just a few minutes. For those visiting for the first time, I highly recommend trying the spicy Gochujang sauce—it added a perfect kick to the bowl. Overall, Hula Poke Bowl is a great spot for a healthy and delicious meal in Metrotown. I'll definitely be coming back!

Ordered the Yuzu poke and it felt like I was eating salt with every bite. I couldn't taste the ingredients, only the intense saltiness. Will not buy from here again unfortunately.

As someone with Celia's disease, it can be hard to find a place to eat that's GF. Hula was great at answering my questions. I had the yuzo bowl with rice base and spicy sauce on top and it was delicious! Highly recommend if you're gluten free.

Rather than referring to this dish as "Poke," it might be more accurate to call it a salad bowl. My experience with Hula Poke was underwhelming, to say the least. It was my first time trying it, and unfortunately, it will also be my last.
As the preparation neared its end, I anticipated the chef would generously add a scoop of fish before sealing the lid. However, to my disappointment, that was not the case. I was presented with only 4-5 small pieces of fish, hardly enough to satisfy.
Furthermore, the sauce was overly salty, masking any potential flavor from the fish. The minuscule portion of fish meant that its taste was barely discernible amidst the overpowering sauce.
In contrast to other Poke shops where customers have the opportunity to see what ingredients are being added and are given options to customize their bowls, Hula Poke simply mixes everything in a bowl and places it on top of the rice, leaving no room for personalization. It's a take-it-or-leave-it situation.
Overall, my experience with Hula Poke was entirely disappointing.

All "poke" bowls are made with careful consideration for health and unique luxury taste. Every time I eat "Hula Poke", I feel healthy, and my stomach feels comfortable. I can say it's definitely the best healthy option in the Foodcourt of Metrotown. I especially recommend their Tiki, Yuzu, and Koko (spicy Korea). "Tiki" is a truly special and amazing taste that I've experienced for the first time. "Yuzu" tastes like soy sauce based and is a bit salty, but you can ask for less sauce if you don't like salty taste. All "poke bowls" are always fresh and of good quality, unlike the cheap ingredients. The Metrotown branch (located near the entrance to the food court) is very friendly and clean and provides generous amounts of protein. So I always come here on purpose, and if I can't come, I order a poke bowl through "DoorDash". I am always very satisfied and recommend you to visit too.
Oh, I almost forgot to recommend their delicious "lava" coffee, so I'm adding it now. The latte is made with 100% plant-based coconut milk and is dairy-free, making it super healthy. I want to drink this lava coffee every day. The taste is so great and they make it one by one when you order. Definitely the best, you should try it.
Vegetarian options: If you choose tofu or sweet potato for your protein, every menu can be a vegetarian option.
Kid-friendliness: Select rice and chicken with carrot, cucumber, avocado, and pineapple with Yuzu sauce. They will definitely enjoy it.
