Prices were a little too high but good ice cream and friendly customer service
Modern style cafe vs the old ice cream parlour most of us might remember. It's nice to have the variety of pastries and ice cream (plus chicken fingers and fries, hotdogs, but no fish and chips) in a relaxing atmosphere.
Miss the ice cream parlour feeling that goes with the village though.
Having a snack after lunch on a weekday was great.
Also caught wedding pictures happening just across from the cafe.
Early afternoon in the village can be busy with summer camps and then becoming quieter as the groups leave.
Frankly a modern upscale chic café in a museum themed around the early 1900s is a crime against humanity. It doesn't match the rest of the aesthetic and thus takes you out of the experience completely.

This place is terrible. The new renovations removed all the charm, there's no warmth. It's over priced for frozen food, it used to allbe made from scratch. It no longer fits with the museum. It's not inviting visually or staff wise. This was a terrible decision to change it. Frankly the entire "museum" is going downhill. The immersion is basically all gone.

The coffee is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the design is modern while still preserving its historical elements.

Very disappointing. Submediocre food, loud music, not very clean. A typical tourist trap.

Visited this cafe twice. The first time I was really impressed by the chocolate cake and London Fog I ordered, hence the second visit. On return, however, I was disappointed that the staff had closed the cafe approx 40 minutes before their stated closing time. Quite frustrating, as staff were still inside, Burnaby outdoor museum was super busy and I definitely wasn’t the only person waiting around hoping they’d open the doors and let us grab a quick coffee…

Not bad, considering it's the only place to purchase food inside the village museum period their slices of cake are reasonable and delicious. FYI the small tub ice cream scoop is less than 2 scoops. I guess not a bad price either. Someone in each building to tell you the history which is nice. Carousel is great but music very loud. My asd child didn't love that part. Wasn't too busy on the Sunday of a bank holiday
Inside Burnaby heritage park. Completely renovated. I had ice coffee and mango berry cheesecake. Better than 5* hotel. Soft and light. So yummy ! I will try another one next time. Staff are friendly and helpful. No hesitation to come back again for summer ice coffee.

Went today to Burnaby museum. The site says the parlour is open..unfortunately was closed with paper over the glass windows. Perhaps keeping up with what’s open/closed so everybody updates with any closures?
Average food, ice cream is great though. Olden interior design, like an 80's Ice Cream Parlour. Service could've been better.
