Honestly a great, cozy café to have inside Burnaby Village. The staff are awesome, but the drinks are a bit small and scalding hot. Definitely recommend cooling down your drinks after you get them.
Modern style cafe vs the old ice cream parlour most of us might remember. It's nice to have the variety of pastries and ice cream (plus chicken fingers and fries, hotdogs, but no fish and chips) in a relaxing atmosphere.
Miss the ice cream parlour feeling that goes with the village though.
Having a snack after lunch on a weekday was great.
Also caught wedding pictures happening just across from the cafe.

Visited this cafe twice. The first time I was really impressed by the chocolate cake and London Fog I ordered, hence the second visit.On return, however, I was disappointed that the staff had closed the cafe approx 40 minutes before their stated closing time. Quite frustrating, as staff were still inside, Burnaby outdoor museum was super busy and I definitely wasn’t the only person waiting around hoping they’d open the doors and let us grab a quick coffee…
