Service here is terrible. Staff act like you’re bothering them just by being there. We were served a frozen sticky rice wrap (糯米雞) with no apology. After being told a replacement would come “right away,” we waited over 30 minutes. When I asked to cancel it, the server told the kitchen to rush it instead. They brought it out even though we didn’t want it anymore. The whole experience was frustrating, and the food is nothing special. Unless you’re a regular, don’t expect good service.

Large portions but nothing special about it. They tend to use a lot of oil in all of their dishes.

Dish sizes seemed smaller and the quality also took a slight hit.
The Crispy Chicken was dissapointingly primarily bones with very little meat. And, it was almost like they forgot about adding chicken in the Chicken and Diced Vegetables.
On the bright side, the Scallops with Snow Peas was prepared perfectly in taste and texture.
Someone mentioned there was a management change recently which could account for the different dining experience.
They also recently replaced all of their chairs with heavy metal ones witch make it very cumbersome to maneuver and to get in and out of.

Ordered large and got medium portions. For the price I expected an amount for 2. They should match other restaurant sizes, to go.
Good food

Everything is made to order, they serve only traditional dim sum items, and they get the job perfectly done. This is one of the few places in old Chinatown that still keeps up with old time glory in

Extremely disappointed with the service here. The staff were rude and completely lacked basic customer service. I stood there for nearly 20 minutes without a single greeting, offer to be seated, or any acknowledgment at all. Neptune at Brentwood is just down the street and a much better option, a lot cleaner also.

My go to Chinese restaurant in Burnaby.
Have been there for dim sum lunches and everything is fantastic from the ha gow, chicken feet to their rice bowls.
But it's there dinner menu that really shines.
I highly recommend:
Lobster and Glutinous Rice steamed in leaves
Crab and Fish Maw Soup (Thick and Juicy)
Pea Tips (Glistening from the wok)
Baked Custard Pudding (for Dessert; must be ordered in advance .. but it's to die for!)
Not a bad seat in the house; even the small table by the bathroom is decent!!

Bad service. Barely acknowledged by the counter staff and takeout was sitting there for 10 mins while I was waiting right there before they gave me my order.

Excellent food and price. Both dim sum and dinner food are very yummy and price is a good deal. Service is also excellent. Highly recommended

The place has a narrow frontage but it’s actually quite a large restaurant as it stretches way back. It’s comfort food. Had the rice noodles with beef and peppers. Tasty, large portion that is on par with quite a few Richmond and Vancouver joints. Also had the stewed beef brisket and tendon with white carrot. The amount of beef and tendon inside was actually half decent but it seems disproportionately little given the phenomenal amount of white carrot. Tendon and white carrot were way undercooked. I can’t say I enjoyed this.
In summary it’s hit and miss here. If you dont stay nearby, the food is unlikely worth the drive.
