Hmmm. I lived for 3½ years in Korea, consequently I know something about Korean food. Kimchi, for instance, should not be sweet, as it is here. Coming from a locale that has no Korean restaurants, I am moderately satisfied with this restaurant, but perhaps there may be more authentic choices in the greater Vancouver area. To me, the flavours were subdued to match what the proprietors' may consider to be occidental tastes.

We have been coming here for years but their portions have significantly decreased...not worth the $$$ anymore, especially the pork hot-pot.
We always order the LARGE and always been having left-overs..but since the portion size changed...no to-go container needed anymore lol

We will try other korean places nearby, time to give some other restaurants a chance too.

Great place for traditional Korean dishes. The soups and stews are a highlight, especially the sundubu, Ddaro Gukbap, and Galbi-tang as my favourites. My wife enjoys the naengmyeon, mandu and soondae. I also really enjoy the gamja-tang, but I wish that they offered that in a personal size in addition to the other sizes which are for multiple people.
