I want to disclaim that I have tried most of the korean resturants around vancouver and lougheed town center. I would say I know my korean food.
This place we ordered the assorted seafood dinner set with the clam fried rice. And we also ordered the seafood pancake. All of the dishes including the side dishes were very bad. I heard good things about this place but I think it is overhyped. It ended up costing 65 dollars per person with tip. That is very expensive for what we got. Service was great though.

The food here was very well flavoured. I ordered the marinated crab and the beef tartare. I thought the marinated crab was well seasoned, you can taste the umami. I also thought the beef tartare was well seasoned, it was missing the pear that day. Overall everything was quite fresh and I enjoyed it!
Got the tofu soup and it was really good! I was not gonna get it at first but changed my mind last minute. The pork bone broth was slightly disappointing. The potatoes were not boiled long enough and therefore the flavour of the potato did not integrate very much into the soup. The potato also did not have the mushy hearty texture that one would expect in a stew. Hopefully it was just an off day, but I do want to come back and try other items on the menu!

I had high expectations for Jejudo Korean BBQ, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The restaurant is very bright and vibrant — a lively and inviting atmosphere. We ordered the soy-marinated seafood set menu, and the ingredients were impressively fresh. While we personally found the flavors a bit too sweet for our taste, everything was still delicious and clearly well-prepared.
Service could be improved — it felt a bit passive and slow at times. That said, I’d be open to coming back to try other dishes that might better match our flavor preferences.
