The food was great. My favourite is the Shanghai dumpling, they use a thin wrapper which isn’t doughy. The fish in batter with seaweed was also one of my favourite! The duck on the other hand was very dry. You can never go wrong with the Shanghai fried noodle as well! Definitely would come again!
I think this restaurant may be the only one still has traditional Shanghai's dishes in Vancouver. We are happy that we still can enjoy the food in a well kept and clean big restaurant.
The food and the prices are good.
We come on a weekday for early dinner. The services are good too.
If you go there for lunch, don't forget try their Chinese doughnut. It's the best in Vancouver.

Tantanmian is the soupy kind. Doesnt really have much meat in it. Wasn't too tasty.

The xiaolongbaos were good. Thin skin and lots of soup.

The preserved veggies and edamame fen pi was terrible. So little veggies and just a sprinkle of edamame. The noodle texture was good but it was so oily. Many shanghai places do this dish much better.
