This morning, I went to JJ Bean with my family to buy coffee and snacks. We bought 2 Americana misto and a blue barriers capcake. There was a long rope for the capcake and when I showed the rope to the officer, I received the answer "Let's give you a free coffee". Neither an apology nor an explanation. no. Good luck in your service and business life at JJ Bean, which we visit twice a week.

Big fan of the Powell JJ - but this place, despite having great coffee and decent food has the most apathetic and non-caring staff of any JJ I’ve been in. I said hello, thank you, please etc etc and both the cashier and barista didn’t make eye contact or say anything other than ‘anything else?’ Didn’t even ask if its for here or to go. I felt like they had the same friendlyness as Canadian customs officials.. a greeting (even just a ‘hi!’) would have been nice instead of giving off vibes I was inconveniencing them for buying a $8 orange juice..

I order my daily breakfast from here. Oat latte and fresh sandwiches are one of the best. Highly recommended
Great coffee spot! I came here one morning the line was 7-8 people long but it moved quickly with 2 cash registers open. I ordered an iced latte and the double smoked bacon & egg breakfast bagel. Order came up quickly. There were plenty of tables available despite being the morning rush. The latte was prefect, not too sweet. The sandwich was exactly what I wanted, nice and toasted. They are very efficient and move through the crowds very quickly. Overall very happy with this place, would definitely come back again!
Parking: There is a parking lot in the back with plenty of spaces as well as street parking.

my boyfriend mentioned that this is one of his favourite jjbeans to study at. i came by tonight to do some work, and he was not wrong. interior is really lovely, and very clean. good music and lovely service. variety of seating areas. glad i live close by i will be coming more often. bonus points for long hours.
