Joey food has always been consistent and fabulous for us. Our server Cass was great and cheerful. This is the second time we sat in her section and it was awesome service again.

We visited Joey's yesterday to celebrate a birthday with our family, including our young child. Unfortunately, what should have been a special occasion left us feeling overlooked. The table right beside us was also celebrating a birthday and they received not only a dessert, but also the option of a complimentary drink. We too were celebrating a birthday, but we only received dessert. It was confusing and disheartening to see one celebration treated as more deserving than another, especially when both tables were there for the same reason. On top of that, nothing at all was provided to engage our child. No coloring sheets, crayons, or even a small effort to make kids feel welcome. For a restaurant that positions itself as a destination for celebrations and gatherings, this lack of family consideration was surprising. Birthdays should feel inclusive, memorable, and equally valued. Instead, ours felt diminished, like our celebration wasn't worth the same recognition. It was disappointing to have our child notice the difference and ask why the table next to us got “more special treatment.” Small gestures matter, especially when people choose your restaurant for milestones. Yesterday, Joey's missed that opportunity.

Good was quick and tasty. Server was friendly and attentive. Extras for our celebrations greatly appreciated. You do need a sign outside as I didn't know where it was but had the address.

We had an amazing time at Joey Burnaby. We came to celebrate my parents anniversary with our out of town grandparents. Arjun was such an attentive and entertaining server. He does his job very well. Sierra the manager was so an absolute doll!! She came to check on us throughout our evening and made sure we were taken care of. We will be returning!!

The customer service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and professional throughout our visit. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented, from the fresh ceviche with chips to the flavorful entrées and tacos. The drinks were refreshing and complemented the meal perfectly.
The atmosphere was vibrant yet comfortable, making it a great spot to enjoy a night out. Overall, a lovely combination of great food, excellent service, and a welcoming environment. Highly recommend JOEY Burnaby

I made a reservation on August 23rd, but when we arrived, only high-top chairs were available, which my friend didn’t prefer, so we left. A few minutes later, manager Alyssa Hunchak called, apologized, and resolved the issue. She welcomed us back personally and offered complimentary drinks. Our server, Diana (if I recall correctly), was also very friendly. I haven’t experienced such respectful service in a long time.
