The blue rose was awesome
I came here around 9:35pm. I just want to say that I found it quite rude that I was ignored at the counter, even though you clearly know I wanted to order, and I was the only customer trying to order! There was nobody ahead of me in the line. As a suggestion, you should say something like « we will be with you shortly. » that is a common courtesy. Even convenience stores like 711 do that. Why are you rude to your potential new customers? I was looking forward to coming here all the way from kitsilano! Also, you have a communal piano in the cafe and customers playing very loud, unprofessional music on the piano. Every customer is subjected to listening to this subpar noise. I suggest you host music events or mini concerts that are a little bit more curated, rather than the haphazard noises.
I know you’ll probably generate some AI made aggressive response to my honest review, as it seems the owners have gotten more and more passive aggressive over the years.
The matcha drink, the matcha is super watered down and there was little chunks unmixed.
The atmosphere is fun and cozy, with lots of manga to read across different genres. The food and drinks are delicious, and the portions are big!

A great place to chill and chat with friends - very relaxed and comfortable with excellent drinks. Highly recommended!
The drink and food here is fantastic and there's a lot of figures and decorations making the place really cozy! There's a lot of manga if you like manga, definitely recommended if you want a place to just chill and read manga!
