We tried one of everything. Our favourite was the cinnamon brown sugar pancake!
Very hot and no waiting - treats are fresh off the grill. We tried the taiyaki place upstairs as well but this one won out by a long shot (although the other one was good, it was double the price and long wait as the taiyaki were made to order).

Quick and tasty food. I love going here after eating a nice meal. It's a nice dessert to have during a cold day as well. Really warms you up. Friendly and nice staff.

Good Korean taiyaki located in Korea town on the Coquitlam Burnaby border. When it comes to a choice over the sweet bean or Bavarian cream filling, I’d always choose the Bavarian cream taiyaki. I’ve also had their pancakes before they’re also quite good. Very hot and fresh and the prices are quite reasonable.

The taiyaki is made to order and very fresh, with three flavors to choose from. However, the filling is quite sparse, and the waiting time is extremely long.

The cream was too sweet and the batter didn't have much flavor. The price is expensive compared to the taste.

I always look forward to visiting this store during it's opening season, but I’ve noticed the prices have gone up. It used to be 4 taiyaki for $5, and now it’s only 3 for $5... :(

Cute taiyaki Korean cart beside Hanam market. Red bean is yummy and not too sweet, but custard tastes a bit weird for me. Price is good ($1.75 each). They close a bit early, so recommend going before 7:30pm

The taste is ok. I tried the red bean paste, the paste is not as thick as before. Also, the price went up, it was $5 for 4, but now is $5 for only 3. And two years ago, it was even $5 for 5…… -_-

Last day (April 30) of the season for famous Korean street snack Fish waffles….then close until September! Don’t miss the freshly baked waffles (we always have our favorite classic red beans!!!) Many other choices too! savory pancakes too! Thought we were in Korea!

Love this place! Wish I lived closer
5 years ago, I randomly stumbled across this place with my Dad. We have it a try and my mind was blown. How had I never tried anything like this before? This sweet, delicate, gooey, flavour-packed, fun size cinnamon filled pancake.I knew I had to go back. The only problem was I didn’t know what the place or the food was called. For the next 3 years, I haphazardly scoured the internet searching the name of this absolute treat — but no luck. It’s surprisingly hard to find the name of something when all you search for is “yummy cinnamon Korean dessert.” All hope was lost until one day, 4 years later, I would stumble across a TikTok, and there it was: Hotteok.I had it.A quick Google search for “Hotteok food stall in Burnaby” and there it was. Devine intervention. This mom and pop, family-run stall is the absolute best. Opened seasonally, I drove over 45mins just to come back and experience this mouthgasm. The family ops are friendly, quick, and efficient — ensuring you get your order fresh to order. For $10, I got 5 Hotteok and all I can say is you have to give this place a try if you can. A true hidden gem and something you don’t see much of anymore in Vancouver. You can’t beat the price, the quality, the size, and the experience.
