The potato in the curry was crunchy and tasted raw. I don’t have much else to complain about (tho a little more sauce would be nice). If the shop fixes the raw vegetables issue, I will retract this review.

Vegetable curry made with potatoes, carrots, onions, served with rice.
There's quite a wait during peak hours.

We always order the chicken ramen. For us, it's the best ramen we've ever had!

I ordered the beef curry bowl and was quite disappointed. The amount of curry sauce was extremely minimal—so little that the rice and potatoes could barely get any sauce on them, leaving the dish looking almost plain white. The vegetables were simply boiled, and the beef was seared separately on a grill. It felt like every component was cooked individually and then finished with a small drizzle of curry sauce, resulting in a dish that lacked cohesion and flavor integration.
Small portions compare to the other locations.

I’m really disappointed with my experience at Koya. There were only three staff working, and my order took 25 minutes.
If the restaurant was managed properly, it shouldn’t take that long. On top of that, nobody told me there would be a wait — if it was going to take that long, they should have been upfront about it. Poor communication and slow service.

Terrible. Small portions. Barely any vegetables. Not worth the cost. Never buying from them again.

Very middle of the road. I had the chicken curry and it was serviceable, but it felt like something I could have made myself at home.

Server was not very helpful but that was better than the guy making the food. I ordered then he stired his drink for a while, had a few sips, watched some of his movie on his phone then gave the most disinterested attempt at preparing my meal. I was given 3 pieces of tofu for my tofu teriyaki, very poor service and food serving. I also said I’m vegetarian and he used the lip that was sitting on top of chicken that was cooking to put on top of mine to heat it. The vegetables were a blend of fresh bean sprouts and obviously frozen green beans and carrots, that weren’t very good.
Update: Just finished eating the overly saucy meal and the 3 pieces of tofu were still cold inside
Update 2: upset stomach later in the evening and next morning, assume from the half cooked chicken lid and tongs being used on my sad meal

Ordered the pork katsu with curry sauce on the side and the takoyaki, and they were both better than what I expected from food-court food! Katsu was crispy, and takoyaki was only $10 for eight and not soggy unlike a lot of other places. Only thing I’d like to change would be that the curry sauce didn’t have a strong curry taste and was instead more salty.
