Hopefully they have just changed the name.I loved that place , La Fontana Cafe and once I saw the new sign, missed that. Haven't had chance to stop by and see what's going on!

Great coffee and even better food. Classic home made Italian food, everything on the menu is made with love to perfection. Truly one of Burnaby’s hidden gems. 10/10

Good and affordable food, with a lot of free street parkings nearby, and even offers free public washroom. Services are very good there.

Love the brunch options here. Amazing, really high quality food. The atmosphere has lots of room to improve though.

The Italian panini breakfast was really delicious with reasonable prices. The atmosphere can be improved to make the restaurant a cozy place.

What a hidden gem. Found it on Google and when we pulled up outside, I questioned it. But the food is excellent ? And the service was great too. Good quality breakfasts and delicious coffee. The bread tasted homemade, and the sausage was worth the upgrade. Also note, the bathroom is a Dr Who Tardis. Amazing. And there were board games to play while you waited (not for long) for food. A great spot that I'll make time for during my next Vancouver visit

A little-known gem of Vancouver, this unassuming café has HANDS DOWN the best gnocchi I've ever had. I will typically just call ahead for takeout, pick a pasta type, and ask them to surprise me with the rest. I've never been disappointed. All pasta is made on-site.

**********FOOD POISONING BEWARE**********11 hours after consumption - Watery diarrhea, nausea, severe stomach cramps, chills.Initial review:Portions for the pasta were larger than your typical Italian restaurant but the quality was average at best. The front of house staff were both very friendly and they did their best to keep up with orders. However I noticed customers were upset that their orders were taking too long and requested to cancel. Even our order of pasta (1) and a panini sandwich (1) took more than 30 minutes before they were brought out to us, luckily I had reserved plenty of time before our next activity for the day. The place itself is quite run down. A refresh to brighten up the place would probably do it some good. Once you enter La Fontana the smell of old cooking oil hits you, definitely a laundry day once you eat there. Wish them well and good luck.
