Went to La foret today to buy some croissants. There's a QR code to scan for the menu while standing in line. It offered 4 croissants for $30. I ordered 4 croissants and asked for the deal to be applied. The person at the cash said it only applies if we order online. Felt kind of salty because we waited in line when we could have ordered online and picked up for a cheaper price? Why would there be a QR code with the menu while we are standing in line if we cannot order from the menu items? We ended up paying because we didn't want to hold up the line.

Huge cafe with a never ending line and greenery definitely gives the space a vibe. I stopped by for a coffee meet up and was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed my drink.
I got their fall special - apple crisp oat latte - and it actually had good apple flavour! The caramel drizzle and cinnamon on top added a nice touch.
Even though it was very crowded, the servers were quick to wipe down tables and show people where to sit. I didnt feel rushed to leave and enjoyed my time although it was a bit loud.
Chai latte was bland and the slice of strawberry cake tasted like an average cake you could get from any asian bakery/grocery store. Lines are pretty long for such mid food.
