Another outstanding dinner at my favorite Italian restaurant. Food, wine and the service is always top notch and you will not be disappointed. Thank you for always taking such good care of me.
Found this lil Italian gem on a google search; pleasantly surprised with the food! I highly recommend the pistachio pasta, gnocchi with meat sauce and any of the pizza's, they will not disappoint. Our server was exceptional; very knowledgeable about the menu, answered all of our questions and most importantly patient with my very hangry husband. Needless to say we were all happy when we left. It was great evening and next time we're in town we'll head to La Forchetta.
Another amazing experience - great food and top notch service (shout out to our lovely Ananda) which will make me come back to this North Burnaby gem every time. Thank you Marcella for all your hard work.
Great little place with delicious freshly made pasta. Service was excellent and servers offered very knowledgeable suggestions. Definitely going back.
Such great food, highly recommend for anyone looking for quality Italian & great service
Highly recommend this Italian gem in Burnaby. Food and service were outstanding - especially the gnocchi with cream sauce and pancetta pasta. Perfect for romantic date night or a fun evening with girlfriends. Excellent wine selections too! Will definitely be going back.
Food was good as usual. Service was ok too. I like the fresh pasta. Ingredients are fresh. I'm not sure what was happening in the kitchen last night though. We are a group of 9 and there was only 1 other table that evening. All our entrees came out together but my son's pizza took over an hour which was disappointing because he's the youngest eater and also the most simple dish to serve. My mother in law's steak they apologized that they had to grill it again because it was overcooked the first time so she got her entree after we were almost done eating. At this point she wasn't angry but with the 2 very late entrees on a quiet evening, I felt like they should have at least offered something like even a dessert. I didn't make a huge deal because I like supporting local restaurants in our neighborhood but I think this should be considered in the future.
The pasta is made fresh, daily and it makes such a difference in the taste! We've always gotten wonderful service, lovely atmosphere and oh, the food! Will keep returning to this gem!
Easily, some of the best fresh-made pasta in Vancouver. The service is always outstanding here.
Family run restaurant serving authentic Italian cuisine from the Abruzzo region. Handmade pastas, gluten free. Fresh and delicious.

La Forchetta is the real deal, and it’s nestled in an area with a rich Italian heritage history of North Burnaby.
I went for the Spaghetti Vongole with fresh Manila clams, white wine, and olive oil that’s, apparently, as extra virgin as it gets. And then came the Scaloppina Chicken—sautéed in lemon or Marsala sauce with Brussels sprouts, which I happily subbed out for extra veggies. Delicious? Absolutely. La Forchetta’s got a good thing going here, with each bite somehow feeling like a shout-out to Nonna’s kitchen. If you’re in North Burnaby and craving a taste of Italy, this place might just become your new ‘old faithful.'
