Lougheed Village Bar & Grill

This is my go to pub/place to have an event with friends. I have been going here for years and I absolutely love it. The last few times I have gone however, it feels off or weird. The older bald bouncer guy is kinda rude and kept my friends waiting at the entrance for over 30 minutes, until I arrive and pointed out clearly free tables. It was almost like a weird power trip over these girls who were there to celebrate a birthday. I also had a previous experience with an incredibly rude manager. Other than that the rest of the staff is absolutely amazing and always contributes to us having an amazing time. Some staff need to chill out a bit though, because they change the energy of an otherwise amazing place. The food is great for pub food and the drinks are great. Whenever I get the bill I'm always shocked how affordable it is compared to other bars (which I love). Overall good place with mostly amazing staff.

This place is a hidden gem with great food, great prices and great service. Sad I've lived in the lower mainland for almost fifty years and never went until recently.

I ‏had the worst experience I’ve had in my several years living in Canada at this game bar. The son of the owner was incredibly rude, constantly giving us unfriendly looks. My partner and I waited a long time for a table, only to feel unwelcome the entire time. His behavior made us so uncomfortable that we decided to leave without even ordering. This was a truly disappointing and unpleasant experience, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

My buddies and I went there to have fun and play together. After spending 45 minutes looking for a parking spot, we finally got in and asked one of the staff members, who seemed to be the owner, for help finding a table. All of a sudden, he started talking to us in a very rude and harassing manner, saying we had to wait. We agreed to wait and, after about 20 minutes, we asked if we could push some tables together to sit more comfortably. Again, he responded very rudely, saying, "It is what it is," and even told us to leave.

We were super disappointed with this place and the owner's behavior.

I had an awful experience at this pub. Found a nail in my food, which is absolutely unacceptable and a serious health hazard. When I brought it to the attention of the management, they were rude and dismissive, offering no apology or resolution. The staff were equally unfriendly, making the entire experience even worse. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Stay away!

Under a concrete jungle, it good to see this place thriving. Connecting the old and the new. The aged and the young the suave and the salty.

We went there for a chill get-together, and it turned out to be a total disaster. The manager was acting all rude and stuff just because we asked to merge tables. I'm telling you, this place is not worth your time or money.

I recently visited this pub with a group of 8 friends. While it was busy, one of the servers kindly informed us they could merge two tables to accommodate us. However, when the manager got involved, the experience took a sharp turn for the worse.

Despite showing him two empty tables that could easily be joined, he rudely dismissed the possibility, claiming it was "impossible." After some back-and-forth, he reluctantly agreed to seat us, only to refuse to join the tables—allegedly because a server needed to pass, despite ample space around us. His tone throughout was unnecessarily condescending and dismissive, leaving us feeling unwelcome.

This kind of treatment ruined what should have been an enjoyable outing. Customer service starts with respect, and unfortunately, this manager seemed more interested in asserting authority than providing a positive experience.

We ultimately chose to leave, and I can't recommend this establishment to anyone who values courtesy and professionalism. There are plenty of other pubs that treat their customers with the respect they deserve.

We visited the place last Friday, it is a typical Canadian bar, it has pool tables, pinball, darts, the atmosphere is pleasant, with good service, the food is abundant and with various options, we ordered the nachos and they were really good We consumed 4 mugs of beer and paid 96 Canadian dollars

Cool subterranean old man bar. Typical pub food.

Service is great....Food is tasty.....Prices are awesome🙂 The atmosphere is so inviting and enjoying with many bar game options for small or big groups. 🍻

A great bar with tonnes if things to keep you busy like pool, shuffleboard, etc. If that's not your jam, there's still plenty of seating. Food is good and the servers are all great 👍

I went here 2 times in 1 weekend. Will be my go-to pub from now on. It has 4 pool tables, a little gaming area in the corner, plenty of screens for sports, great music, well priced food and drink. The list goes on. If you're looking for a cool hole in the wall pub, then this is the place for you
