I love coming to this place to eat but I believe it is now a Vietnamese restaurant (Song Huong). Strangely the sign above restaurant still says lu lu kitchen but the restaurant window sign shows Song Huong.

The best real lu Lu kitchen of all of Vancouver itās the best place to eat for quality food they also compliment you with a dish in the beginning of your meal and they also give you a dessert for free at the end. Youāre always treated like itās your Chinese mother at home making you food.and I am a white guy and it the best food I have ever tryed Russian Ukrainian and Chinese mixed food. Got to try. I will update a picture of the quality they serve you. Itās insane highly highly recommend.

We always come to this restaurant as a family, and usually everything is great. But this last visit was very disappointing. 1. We ordered 6 chicken wings, but only 3 were served. We had to argue for a long time to prove that we only received three. 2. We ordered 5 BBQ cabbages. On the way, one was dropped, and we ended up with only two pieces. Then they brought us something completely different ā a skewer with just one piece of tofu ā and placed it on our table for no reason. In the end, we pointed out that we had only received 3 cabbages instead of 5. After some time, they brought us one more, but we still never received the full order. We decided to let it go.
But it didnāt stop there. When I got the bill, I noticed that an extra dish was added ā not just once, but listed as 5 portions! At that point, I lost my patience.
I can understand if thereās one mistake, maybe even two. But when the whole evening is filled with errors and then we are expected to pay for them, it feels like the staff is just playing with us.
The food, as always, was very tasty ā but I went home upset and disappointed with the way we were treated.

Passed by here so many times and wanted to try it but it was never the right time. Finally made it tonight and I was not disappointed! From the beginning it was pleasant and inviting - especially a staff named Sylvia, who described the menu and asked the owner for a special treat for me and my son. Then the food came -, the cauliflower skewers were so perfectly crisp and cooked, the lamb skewers juicy and tender, the steak and squid? Sublime! Washed it all down with a nice cold Tsingtao beer. Two full and satisfied bellies (oh yes the pork belly too was amazing!) . Surprised it was not more full but glad we had attentive service - refilled cold water with lemon, and the food came in a timely pace, skewer after skewer of meat and veggies/
We ordered chicken, beef, sausage, potato, and pepper skewers. All were delicious and we absolutely loved the seasoning on all the meet skewers! The service and the atmosphere was fantastic. We'll be back for sure!

Tried the skewers on Hats Off Day and finally made it to dine in. Tried a variety of skewers and the ice cream cone at the end, all were delicious! Service was also very good, will be back.

lol, google review absolutely will say something to you. No wonder itās under4. Ordered 5 pork skewers , they made it loaded with sugar. Request to return got refused, offer make a new portion with less sugar. I said okay but served with 3 new skewers, I seriously almost laughed outā¦ā¦. Because I complained the food even not get an ice cream that any table offered. How cheap the boss isā¦..beyond imagination lolā¦ā¦. Additionally they serve food very slow. Crayfish has many head without tale,half of them stale . Will never come back and will not recommending to any friends. Avoid here

We came few days ago with my boyfriend for the first time during the happy hour. We had an amazing time, the food was delicious and thereās a lot of very good choice ! Big thanks to Riri for giving us advices on the amount of food we were ordering as it was our first time and for her amazing service ! We had such a great time and were planning on coming back regularly for that, truly recommend this place especially if you come with friends or partner !
