The food was decent, but there was poor communication throughout the ordering process. They ran out of stock for noodles, and we asked to change the order to rice. They said the change was okay and it wasn't until the delivery person brought the food that we were informed that we needed to pay an additional $3 to complete the order. If we had known there would be a fee to substitute the noodles (that they ran out of) we would not have asked for it.

Ordered takeout for lunch and it's a cute and local restaurant. We ordered the chongqing noodles, spicy beef noodle soup and the snow crisps. Chongqing noodles were not that spicy but there's not a lot of toppings (no meat, etc.). The spicy beef noodle soup was too spicy for me so beware if you can't handle spice/chili oil! Snow crisps were very interesting - like an asian rice krispie dessert. Cool to try as a snack. Full review and more pics on my blog: sincerelyloewe.com/lualu…

Ordered the duck vermicelli soup, Chongqing noodles and dumplings. Flavour was really good and the level of spice was not bad, but could be a bit spicier. Was pretty disappointed in the amount of vermicelli that was in my duck soup.... It's vermicelli (i.e. cheap) so I don't get why there was such a little amount. All in all, for the price we paid I really wish the portions were bigger. Gonna miss those dumplings though.

I don't know where the good ratings coming from. I trusted the reviews and ordered take out. Was expecting spicy style but not spicy at all. Portion sizes so small. The noodles stocked together and some were dried up already. Terrible restaurant. Will never order again.

(Translated by Google) I have recently become addicted to this trotter and have a taste with my grandfather's family. Snow flakes are delicious too

Recently, I noticed that a new restaurant opened up on Edmonds Street called Lualu Kitchen. The interior is a bit spartan but clean and they use outdoor patio furniture chairs inside.

Recently, I noticed that a new restaurant opened up on Edmonds Street called Lualu Kitchen. The interior is a bit spartan but clean and they use outdoor patio furniture chairs inside. I ordered the Chive and Pork Dumplings ($10.99) on my first visit. I originally wanted to try their stuffed chicken wings but they said that it takes a while to prepare it. The boiled dumplings had a good filling and they had soy sauce, vinegar, and chili tableside to spice up the flavour of the dumplings. On my second visit here, I tried their Chongqing Style Noodles ($8.89 plus $3.89 for added braised beef shank). The braised beef shank was quite tender but it was served cold and I needed to dunk it into the hot broth to heat it up. Speaking about the broth... it was quite spicy and I could feel my chest radiating heat after I finished it. You know, the kind of spiciness that clears your sinuses and makes you want to sweat. In any event, the noodles were actually quite good and had a very tender texture. Overall, the menu is pretty limited (but that might be because they've only just opened). I've been trying to order their stuffed chicken wings but they never have it when I show up. Note that it's also cash or debit only.

(Translated by Google) A bad batch! I couldn't eat any of the three dishes. The hooves were all hairy and couldn't be eaten, and the trotters were not soft. There was also a chicken with noodles. The noodles were bought outside, except for the spicy. Other flavors, the last double rice meal is simply, a few pieces of sirloin and a few slices of savory sausage on the rice will dare to sell it? I have stepped on the biggest thunder in the past 6 years, and I have not eaten a few mouthfuls.

(Translated by Google) Chongqing noodles taste good, the surface will not be too soft, the taste of hemp will come out, the overall environment is clean and tidy

Taste was great and authentic. It is on the pricy side for the style of food it serves. The main courses are a good size but the appetizer is a very small portion for $15...

An excellent addition to the restaurant options in the area. All dishes we ordered are good with the stuff chicken wing being the best. Friendly and fast service.
