As a massive Biryani lover, I found the chicken 65 Biryani to be okay at best. The saalan & raita were good. The Cauliflower varuval was very underwhelming. The Dosa was good, the red Chutney was great! The Sambar & white Chutney were

I love my meat, Beef, Chicken, Pork, etc you name it. But Manjal South Indian Kitchen takes everything that I thought was boring and turns into into a masterfully flavourful set of complex and fun Indian dishes. I dare even say that the food is an experience in itself! The service is delightful and shows a deep hospitality. I will definitely dine again!Vegetarian options: Pretty much everything is a vegetarian option ?

Manjal? It has become an addiction for me. Hands down the best dosas in Vancouver area. I keep finding excuses to go there. I would specifically recommend their mysore masala dosa, butter paper masala dosa, ghee podi masala dosa and of course their filter coffee :)

Transporting diners to the streets of India, Vancouver's "Southern Spice" impresses with its authentic South Indian fare. The Rava Dosa boasts a perfect blend of crispy texture and savory flavor, accompanied by a medley of chutneys and piping hot sambar. Equally delightful are the soft, fluffy Idlis served with coconut chutney and tangy tomato dip. With impeccable presentation and warm hospitality, Southern Spice undoubtedly earns its title as the city's premier destination for a taste of South India.

I had plain Set Dosa which was excellent with the condiments of sambar, coconut chutney and an onion tomato chutney. All very tasty. And Madras Coffee which was also very good. Services very good.

Having drove in all the way from Seattle for this gem of a place, the food just is amazingly palatable, you don't get such good dosas anywhere in the Seattle area, we had a medhu vadai, rava dosa, filter coffee and mysore masala dosa, these were out of the world and spiced appropriately for our liking, service is very prompt and the ladies here are on top of things and appreciate the service which you'd usually lack in some places but not at Manjal. We just were blown away by the taste and will certainly recommend this location to anyone looking for authentic south Indian tiffins, worth driving 3 hours and crossing the border for this. The only con here is that the parking around this place is so difficult, but the food outweighs any parking issues from my experinece.
