I ordered instant tteokbokki, marbled rice bowl, and fried pasta, and it was okay. It wasn't very tasty, but the pasta had a spoiled seafood smell, so I thought it was stored incorrectly.

Very friendly and thoughtful staff. We called ahead to confirm seating availability and they had a table set up for us. The bibimbap shaved ice is really cute and unique, and the matcha toast is tasty as well. The apricot flower tea and its setting is also very nicely served.

Yes, it could get loud if the restaurant is full, but that's honestly expected from this style of establishment.

It's not tasty... I ordered the buldak, but it wasn't spicy or sweet at all, just tasteless...

The food was so bad and the quality was so poor and the customer service was so awful. I don’t recommend this restaurant to anyone.

It's delicious, but the store is super noisy. Other customers will yell and it's super noisy every time I go there.

I haven't been here for a few years and things have changed. I'm not too sure if they have new management since the last time I was here, but the menu definitely changed. It use to be a quiet little dessert restaurant and now its decorated with like a sports bar with loud music (not a good or bad thing, just different). Food was really good and prices are quite reasonable. I enjoyed the matcha mochi toast a lot. However, I didn't quite understand the tea at all, it was presented very well, but it tasted bland, just hot water with a few tea leaves.

Amazing food and service. It is hard with how many Korean restaurants there are in the area, but if you want incredible service and great food this is where you should go

We were quite disappointed when they redid all their decor as it wasn't basketball themed anymore (as also stated in their website still) and it's just generic decor now. The food and dessert menu also seemed to have shrunk a lot in terms of options.

We got the UFO garlic chicken which was quite flavourful and had a decent amount.

It's still a decent place to meet up with friends overall but it's a bit disappointing that there's not much about them that stands out from the rest anymore.

Came here on the weekend. Looks like it would be a good place for drinks. It was pretty busy. Servers were working hard. They still had time to answer some questions about the menu and were able to make changes to items on the menu to accommodate others in our group. Over a good experience. Food was good but didn't stand out from other restaurants with the same cuisine.

Pleasant atmosphere & friendly service. The pan-fried pork belly & corn cheese was delicious.

During the Bite of Burnaby Contest period, we dined at MIDAM KOREAN BISTRO in Burnaby. For $65.00, we enjoyed their contest menu, which featured Stir-fried garlic sauce chicken on a UFO grill (a fun experience with incredibly juicy chicken), Assorted Fishcake Soup (the generous portion with plenty of fishcakes), rice, side dishes, and a delightful Korean-style Oreo Shaved Ice--Bingsoo 빙수 for dessert (a refreshing and melt-in-your-mouth treat). It was a flavorful journey that easily satisfied two people. In addition, we couldn't resist trying their Pan-fried Crispy Pork Belly on Creamy Rosé Pasta. We really enjoyed its uniqueness and the flavours. The ambiance at MIDAM KOREAN BISTRO is very relaxed. It boasts a spacious and trendy environment. The chefs really get creative with their dishes, offering a variety of casual and fusion Korean food. Yummy!??Food: ???? Should Try!Service: ?‍??‍??‍??‍?Kids: ???? Good casual Korean food and open late. My faves are the cheesy corn and the army sausage stew.

This is probably my favourite Korean restaurant in metro Vancouver. It’s great if you love grilled meats and spicy options.
