they water boil the chicken first and then run it on flame to look like flame grilled,
not nice experience I think I will grill the chicken myself at home in the future

My worst experience at Nando’s was at the Metrotown location. The quality and portion size were extremely poor. I’m usually a big fan of Nando’s and I go at least once every 10 days, but this was my first and definitely my last time at this branch.
The staff were very rude and unprofessional, and on top of that, they said they wouldn’t even give us any points. I had invited my family, and I felt really embarrassed. I kept telling them that other Nando’s locations are never like this, and that the problem is only with this branch.

I bought a chicken wrap today from Nando’s for my son, and unfortunately, the chicken inside was completely undercooked with raw skin still on it. My son immediately felt sick and almost vomited after eating.
This is extremely concerning because serving raw chicken is not just poor quality — it is a serious health risk. Food safety should always come first, especially when serving families and children.
I’ve attached photos to show what we received. I hope management takes this very seriously, reviews their kitchen practices, and ensures that food served is safe and properly cooked.

Whatever you do, DO NOT get the roasted brussel sprouts unless you wanna drink the mayo sauce. To top it off the brussel sprouts weren’t even fully cooked. I took these home and gave it a rinse and cooked them again cause I hate wasting food. Can’t believe I paid an extra 2 dollars for this. It’s not even a free side.
I wanted chicken with rice, but unfortunately, since they had run out of rice, I had to order it with fries instead. The taste was good, but the portion size was small compared to the price.

It’s a food court Nandos so atmosphere is not what I was there for! I have tried most of the Nandos. We are from South Africa where Nandos originated and this is by far the best franchise within Vancouver, had the whole chicken (lemon and herb) with sides. Chicken was grilled to perfection, sides were equally amazing, thanks guys keep up the good work!

Ordered Peri-Peri Chicken Bowl. Insane amount of rice. The rice somehow tastes like rice you get served on an airplane, slightly undercooked somehow. Tiny piece of chicken breast. The chicken just has sauce on it which you can only taste on the skin. Everything tastes unseasoned or like nothing somehow. World’s largest handful of arugula and the world’s smallest sized side serving of hummus. Overcharged $3 for a fountain drink which was flat like anything. Tastes like flavoured syrupy mystery drink, not a carbonation bubble in sight. Literally so much rice. We shared this between two of us.
