Restaurantji Recommends
The chicken teriyaki is good; the batter was light and the size was larger than most places, but the roll was very disappointing. Inconsistently filled and the wrap was not connected, it would fall apart as you picked it up. But in the end what really irritated me was the service, nothing sours a restaurant experience more than a server with an attitude and lack of care. You can see from my other reviews this is the 1st low star review I've ever posted, i wouldn't go back to this location. But if you do visit them try the chicken teriyaki and avoid any of the rolls. ✌️
NOTE: the main door ramp is EXTREMELY slippery. Be careful not to hurt yourself.

Been ordering take out on a weekly basis. Staff are always friendly and the food is prepared in a timely manner. Definitely our new go-to for sushi! Prices are decent as well. Can't beat the happy hour!

From 5 Stars to 1 Star
I had to rewrite my original 5-star review after my most recent (and final) visit. This was my 4th time ordering from here, but this time I got takeout—and it was a major disappointment.
Look at the photos I attached: one from my first visit, and the other from this recent order. The difference in quality is shocking. Does it look like I ordered from same restaurant?
The donkatsu was disgusting—tasted like boiled pork, and the breading was completely separated and soggy.
The salmon was sticky, slimy, and had the unmistakable texture of being frozen and poorly thawed. Totally unappetizing.
Seriously, what happened here? Has the kitchen staff changed? This food is nowhere near the standard I experienced before.
And they’re charging $20+ for this? It’s honestly unacceptable. It feels like they just don’t care anymore or don’t expect customers to return—because I certainly won’t.
First review:
This place is my new favorite sushi restaurant in the city. The sushi is outstanding, and the katsu is also excellent. However, the ramen was disappointing—it had an off-putting smell, possibly similar to boar taint.
While the food deserves a 5/5, the service could definitely use some improvement.
