I came here on saturday for brunch with some friends and our server Daisy was so warm and welcoming. I asked if I could replace the avocado with onion in my meatless poutine and she was very accommodating. Excellent service and the food was delicious! I will be definitely be back again soon!

They only gave us 1.5 hrs of time to finish our meal - even with a new trainee waiter taking 20 min to give us our drinks - and when we asked for more time they denied us twice

I’ve been here more than ten times, but this is the first time I’ve experienced such unfair treatment. Even though I had a reservation, I was left waiting under the blazing sun for a long time, while walk-in customers were seated right away and could even choose whether to sit inside or outside. Very “fair,” right?!
Also, during my last visit with my best friend, we had an even worse experience with the manager. We ordered the GF Gnocchi Breakfast Carbonara, but it tasted rotten — sour and completely off. After just one or two bites, we both agreed something was wrong and called the server over. The dish was taken to the open kitchen, and the chefs actually laughed and even covered their noses after smelling it.
Then the manager came over and said: “So, what do you want? I smelled it and I don’t think there’s any problem. Should we make another one for you?” Before I could even answer, he continued: “Oh, just so you know, even if we remake it, it’ll taste the same, because there’s nothing wrong with our pasta. So what do you want to do?”
We were speechless. We politely said, “Okay then, please just cancel this dish.” After that, he kept humming little tunes near us, mocking us with things like “oh you guys are not rich.” Excuse me? We’re not strangers to this dish — we’ve had it at other places, and even here before, and it NEVER tasted like this.
With service and management like this, all I can say is: giving you one star is already way too generous.

A Vancouver classic.
It's nice to wake up, go out, and actually be able to walk to a place that serves breakfast. OEB is located at the Amazing Brentwood. It's not a big restaurant, so it gets packed in here. Why? Because of the great service and good food. The staff is very courteous and on the ball. The food is very tasty. I've had the Spinach Benny before, so I decided to have the basic Benny with Canadian ham. My wife ordered the classic breakfast. There's an outdoor patio area for the sunny days. Good food, reasonable prices, and good service. You will not be disappointed eating here.

I had the Soul in a Bowl breakfast poutine (top of photo) and the person I dined with had the Tuna Crudo breakfast poutine (bottom). The Soul in a Bowl was classic and perfect, and the Tuna Crudo was a fresh and interesting twist. The menu had lots of delicious looking options, so it was hard to choose!

Food is perfect as usual. Location service is average. We had breakfast on Saturday morning at 9:10 am and waited almost 40 min to get our food (15 min in and nobody even came to take our order until we literally ask the waiter to serve us). We’ll stick to North Van location

After many attempts, managed to finally come and try this place! Ordered the “Gold Digga” as I heard it was good.
Unfortunately, the eggs arrived lukewarm/cold and over-done. I also found the dish to be extremely salty. I probably wouldn’t order it again and, overall, wouldn’t recommend this dish.
The service, though, was very good, and the venue itself is well-decorated.

I’ve had the chance to visit OEB Breakfast Co. in Vancouver a few times, and each experience has been really enjoyable. The space itself feels modern yet cozy, with a bright and lively atmosphere that makes it a great spot to start the day. The staff have always been warm, welcoming, and attentive – they make you feel comfortable right away and add to the overall positive experience.
In terms of food, OEB is definitely one of the better breakfast places I’ve tried in the city. I especially enjoyed their eggs – perfectly cooked and full of flavor, whether scrambled or poached. The saled I tried was amazing, and paired nicely with the other breakfast items. Their mushrooms were another highlight for me: sautéed to perfection with a rich, savory taste that balanced the plate really well.
And I can’t forget about the fries. Crispy on the outside, soft inside, and served hot they added such a satisfying touch to the meal. It’s clear that the ingredients are fresh and the kitchen pays attention to detail.
Overall, OEB combines great food, a friendly team, and a vibrant atmosphere. It’s become one of my go-to breakfast spots in Vancouver, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable breakfast experience.
