Wow - we just happened to be craving Korean food and was in the vicinity of this restaurant. The reviews got us in and they were not wrong. Food was excellent. The fried chicken dish is huge. 3 of us and we could not finish it (though we are not huge eaters) but it’s still bigger than normal. Server was very nice and very helpful. If we’re ever in the area again, we would go back just for the chicken.

I tried the Spicy Pork Don and the Spicy Beef Cream Udon at Zhu Sam, and both dishes absolutely exceeded my expectations. The spice level was spot on—just the right amount of heat to enhance the flavor without overwhelming it.

The pork don was rich, savory, and perfectly balanced with a generous portion of meat and rice. Every bite was packed with flavor. But the real standout for me was the beef cream udon—unbelievably creamy, juicy, and comforting. It...

We enjoyed their food. Lots of selection. We even ordered take home and they were delicious. The price is good too. We make it a point to visit them whenever we go to Burnaby. We are from Chilliwack and it was our son who introduced us to this place.
