they used to have a spot on kingsway near joyce. they closed that one and opened one downtown, but as far as i’m concerned, this particular new store is a massive downgrade in quality.
also they specialty is not noodles, i don’t know why their english name is Noodle Express😑

The food was really bad. My order was a soup but it was super spicy i cant eat it its really impossible. This day i cant eat very well I just wanna eat something and it was late so i was hungry so I decided to tell to waitress if i canchange of food but she had a negative behavior. I really enjoy this environment also I think i can pay more if she give me the service of the chanve but she didn't. She just want to I paid. So disgustanting my soup literally was red she said but the soup is good but is red

It’s been months. I check the menu like it’s a missing person poster. I whisper to myself: “Maybe today’s the day. Maybe is back.” It never is.
This wasn’t just food. This was an emotional support meal. That tender pork? The rice that soaked up every drop of flavor like it was born for this mission? The cabbage crunch? I have not known joy like that since 2016.
I’ve tried moving on. I’ve ordered other dishes. I’ve even tried cooking at home. But nothing hits like that Stewed Pork Rice. I dream about it. My therapist knows about it. My boyfriend knows not to bring it up unless he’s ready to see me cry.
Old Xian’s, I’m begging. I will write a haiku. I will start a petition. I will trade my soul (or at least a Costco membership).
Just… please bring it back. Metro Vancouver deserves greatness again.
This tomato zhajiangmian is simply amazing! The rich, savory bean paste sauce blends beautifully with the tangy sweetness of the tomatoes, creating a perfect balance of flavors. Finally got around to try out the famous Spicy Beef Biang Biang Noodles No. 50.
Gotta say, it lives up to the hype on social media. The beef is flavorful, not too dry, quite soft. The noodle is nice and smooth, soft and slightly chewy texture.
Despite the description saying that it is oily, it is in fact not quite so. The oil plays a more significant role in boosting the fragrance and aromatic notes.
For seating, honestly, better if you order take out and bring it home or to a park. The food court is not the most cozy space.
