Went there for a local band play, shout out to the food that really stood out. Waiters were super friendly. During live music, we couldnt hear each other well, they were patient and smiley checking everything was ordered correctly.

Service is bit slow. The food is way overpriced. Even the drink special isn't special. I was very surprised. I told the server that I had paid the bill at the bar. She said no you didn't. Even after I showed her the bill. I waited an extra 10 minutes more after she verified it. Not cool at all.

This is one of my favourite bars to go to. I like this bar because they have a large diverse food menu and everything I’ve tried here has been good. Another thing I like about this place is they have Stella and Heineken on tap which are my two favourite beers. The food here is great and I will continue coming to this great bar.

First timer - needed to kill some time on a Sunday afternoon. Came for a couple beer only. No food. It was just as I expected. Bar fly kind of feel. Lots of loners playing keno and drinking alone (like me). The servers, both younger Asian girls, didn't speak very good English. Not a deal breaker. But I had to say I-P-A 3x before she understood what I wanted in a beer. I'm not sure if they use soap in their dishwasher as both of my 1664 glasses had a disgusting film/rings on them which is quite common when that's the case. I was probably the youngest (by 20 years) in there at 45 years old. My main critique is their music selection. It was all 2010+ rap/hip hop with lots of offensive/disgusting content. Know your audience. Even me at 45 doesn't want to come to a place like this and listen to that. Throw on 60s, 70s, or 80s rock. I even heard the guy below me say "what is this terrible music they're playing". Other than that, it was a one off. I don't see a need to go back. The food looked good from what I saw coming from the kitchen The beer was cold and the place was clean enough. I didn't go in the washroom. They had all the NFL/MLB games on at least - which is what I came for.
The bar flys in there seemed happy and I could tell the servers knew them. That's what you want in a neighborhood pub. I'd never bring my younger family here though - there's better options.
A solid 3.5/5 at this point in my life! Ill give them the benefit of the doubt and round up to 4....

Great local, neighborhood watering hole. Mushroom burger was fantastic. Service was courteous and full of smiles. Not super posh like some of the social houses nowadays. Good music. Down to earth blue collar type of people. Clean environment, super comfy booths. Definitely will go again. The name really suits the atmosphere. There's my tale of my experience.
