Oolala Chicken is way better when you dine in rather than getting takeout or delivery.
I tried the new Machoking flavor (BHC-style Machoking), and it was so good I literally scraped the sauce clean. It officially became my new favourite!! I used to love the mala flavour, but this one took its place.
Sometimes there can be a slight smell with chicken, but ordering strong-flavored options like mala or Machoking really covers it well and makes it much better overall.
Highly recommend dining in for the best experience.

Great fried chicken, crispy on the outside juicy on the inside. I would definitely comeback and try more different flavour. Overall it’s one of those fried chicken that makes you pause mid bite and say , yeah they did this right.

Many people told me this place was really good, so I visited with my child.
However, I was very disappointed and I may not come back again.
I double-checked with the server to make sure there would be no spicy at all, because my child can’t eat anything spicy. But the original chicken was still quite spicy, so my child was only able to eat a small portion from the middle. Also, the skin part was extremely salty. We ended up packing half of the chicken because it was too spicy and salty.
The extra soy sauce tasted like alcohol, and the fish cake soup tasted just like water. It seemed like water with some MSG or broth with no seasoning at all. The soup flavor was not what I expected. We still finished it because the chicken was too salty, honestly.
Overall, it wasn’t a pleasant experience.

This is honestly the worst place I’ve been to in Vancouver. The waiting system is a complete disaster — they keep jamming people in ahead of you even though you’re required to write your name on a list. We arrived with only one table ahead of us and were told the wait would be 30 minutes max. After 30 minutes, we came back to find that two more tables were suddenly ahead of us, and they told us to wait another 30 minutes. Totally unacceptable. If we knew the wait was going to be that long, we would have left right away.
The tall guy working there was incredibly rude and offered zero help. Honestly, avoid this place at all costs. The food is nowhere near worth the wait or the terrible service

Good place with a variety of Korean options. The staff are very friendly, the service is fast, and the food is delicious. My favorites are the cheese balls, chicken, and rice cakes! 😋

Best rose tteoboki I ever had--soft and chewy, spicy and savory! Also had their prinkle and secret chicken, which were delicious and great value. Had some leftovers and it was still so good the next day

The food at Oolala was good and the service was okay, but the tipping situation left a bad impression. Throughout the meal, the server repeatedly asked how the food was, which felt a bit excessive. At the end, when I chose not to leave a tip, the server directly asked if they had done something wrong. I explained that nothing was wrong, but nothing was done to go above and beyond either. Tips should be earned, not pressured out of customers.
