For the price it was pretty good. Not the best not the worst. But if you're looking for a quick and cheap breakfast this is the place to go.

Cute little vintage diner, family run and very friendly. It felt like having breakfast at my grandmas house, we loved visiting here. Prices are super reasonable too!
Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options!

Classic Mid-century modern decor which the owners have been wise enough to leave intact . Mostly locals hang out here and it's a hipster free zone...

Peak nostalgia. If you could time capsule a restaurant this would be it. These types of establishments are a dying breed , so if you’re looking for that authentic diner experience to take you back in time this would be it. As for the food , it’s tastes exactly how you remember it. Even if a more modern or fancier restaurant tried to replicate the food they would probably fail. You can only get the taste of diner food from a diner.

I think it's if not the last then it's almost the last of a kind.

Inaccurate opening hours.
What a gem! A definite throwback to ol’skool diners of past Vancouver times…but in BBY! What I say - authentic, value, greasy spoons - so good! Had the Cafe Hash - awesome, will def be back again!

I ate here only once ( Spring 2024) and i was really looking forward to the authentic old school dier experience.
Yes, nice clean old diner.
Yes, friendly service i suppose. That nothing amazing. A friendly greeting as you enter, quiet smile. Nothing outstanding, met the basics of service.
Altho i only ate the cheeseburger/fries combo plate, i can only comment on that. Kinda plain, kinda dry. Was not expecting a gourmet burger and fries, but i've had better at 3-4 other old school diners for about the same menu prices or cheaper.
Having said this, i am willing to go back and give them another try. Maybe the super burger with fried egg will give the burger some moisture. Or a plate of chinese food.
Thing is, everywhere nowadays, including old school diners, is too expensive for dining out. Then add tip+ tax and that old school diner cheeseburger combo of $14 or so is now $20 or more. For mediocre food just because it's old school diner and ''they were friendly''.
Parking: parking lot free .

A hidden gem that takes you back to the 50’s, this Chinese Canadian run restaurant is charming and the music is piped over a tinny radio which just adds to the atmosphere. The pricing is reasonable, the owners greet the regulars like family, and it is just a solid place for breakfast, burgers, and other diner fare.
Oh, and the coffee is good.

Cool old school greasy spoon diner. Solid breakfast options including omelettes Bennie’s and my personal fav from here - the Salisbury steak. Reminds me of TV dinners from childhood.
