Went at dinner time on a Tuesday. Place was empty. Freezing cold inside. Ordered two items. Delivered 8 minutes apart. Both cold. Mandarin chicken was worse than mall food. Veg noodles had enough salt to kill a moose. Tofu was burnt. Veggies were rubber with brown edges. Could hear the cook coughing and sneezing so the woman turned up the tv playing pop music. Never came back to check on things, offer more tea etc. Just disappeared to the back to yell with the cook. Barely ate, no tip. Won't be back.

A fall from the glory days of Peaceful. The rice must be 2+ days old and inedible. Kung pao chicken was pretty lifeless and gristle. We were the only customers for an hour at lunch time which is tough to see. I miss the old peaceful, I hope the other locations still have standards.

I ordered from Ubereats yesterday and my daughter found a piece of metal in her food. She could have died or had serious injury. I had to throw out the food. I went to the restaurant and they only had sorries and did not offer a refund Beware you may find this on your food. Ubereats did not refund me
either

A classic Chinese restaurant. The menu has plenty to choose from, with food variation and options. Classic, unfussy decor - which is a good thing, in my opinion. The beef rolls are a great idea. Super flavourful and satisfying. Worth a try!

I met with a few friends for lunch at this Peaceful location & was pleasantly pleased with the food we ordered. The star attraction were the Beef Rolls. The stuffed slices of tasty beef had the taste of being freshly roasted & the wrap was equally crispy. YUMMY! Street parking is available. If no spots available, try the surrounding residential parking or the parade across the street. Service at the restaurant was attentive. Limited seating/tables but we managed to arrive before the lunch crowd came - 11:30 am on a Friday. Definitely, we will come back to this location.

Restaurant is new so I’m hoping they will add some more ambiance to the place. Otherwise the food was delicious and good vegetarian options! Had the Mah Po Tofu (vegetarian version) and the Mu Shu stir fried noodles and both were great!

I've been eating at Peaceful Restaurant for many years now and I was excited to see there was a Burnaby location. Unfortunately the quality isn't up to par. I ordered the Dan Dan Noodles, and these clearly aren't the delicious hand-pulled noodles that I've had from other locations. It doesn't even taste the same. Pretty disappointing, I hope you're able to do some quality control and remedy this.

Great service, and the best most flavourful tofu I have ever eaten. If your a vegetarian get the potato roll!! Thank me later. My friends had the The beef roll and said it was heavenly.

The food is really terrible! The fish flavored shredded pork has no taste. There was very little shredded pork and a lot of eggplant in it. I have been eating fish-flavored shredded pork for many years since I was born in the north, and not once has a restaurant put eggplant in this dish. I thought I ordered it wrong and ordered fish-flavored eggplant. I also ordered General Tso's Chicken, and every piece was basically starch. There was no flavor at all, and it was only half a box. So infuriating! If I can curse people here, I really can't help it anymore! Will never go to this store again! If possible, I would like the chef to apologize for the fish-flavored shredded pork dish. Four dishes plus a beef burrito are $100 CAD. It’s so easy to make money now

We went in too close to closing hour. And there were no more spareribs. Which is our fault.
Beef wrap is the best.
Xiaolongbao (the soup buns) are alright; had better.
Garlic green beans and Shanghai noodles are a touch too greasy and salty. Definitely ask for less salt and oil if we decided to come back.
Interior is super basic. There was one portable AC for the whole dining area.

MY BOYFRIEND AND I GOT FOOD POISONING!!!!! i usually love peaceful restaurants and go to the other locations often but this is the worst location ever! we had to be admitted into the emergency room at 2am last night due to non-stop puking. the service was bad and the workers were also very rude.
